I purchased this system to hang a Thule carrier in our garage as I did not want to spend $200 for the other systems I’ve seen. This is very simple and also over-priced but it works. I did have to replace all of the screws they provided as the heads snapped off on half of them so I bought my own wood screws to make it work. Not ideal in terms of price or quality, but so far it’s doing the job.

Way overpriced for 2 straps, 8 screws and 4 two inch plates. Three of the eight screws sheered off on install. The concept is great but I think I could have purchased the parts from Home Depot and got the job done cheaper.

We used this product to hang our Thule XL car-top cargo box in our garage. We wanted a product that would allow the box to sit as close to the ceiling of the garage as possible. Our ceiling is fairly low. I can't believe that I almost spent $180 on the pulley system from Thule, when this one is so much more affordable and much easier to use! This product worked perfectly. Sufficiently sturdy parts, extremely simple to install and will be easy enough to take the box down by myself if I"m careful and take my time. A second person would make taking down the box a snap. Highly recommend!!

$80 for a couple of lashing straps and 4 little metal washers. Didn’t work as expected. You have to push the weight of the cargo box with other hand, you can’t just pull down on the strap and lift it.

I started looking for a much more complicated system but happened on these. They are a robust and very economical solution. I hoisted a Yakima Skybox on my own going back and forth between the two ends; two people would have made it a piece of cake. The pictorial instructions are sufficient to get the threading correct.

Works great and easy to install. I have it supporting a large Thule cargo carrier that seems to be a place for people to pile things on top of. The straps have not slipped, the carrier is still in the same position it was when I raised it.

Great idea! Roof top boxes are so handy, but 99% of the time they are taking up room in the garage. This has given us the extra space we need, it’s tucked neatly up out of the way. Very impressed

This is a total no-brainer. Easy to install, and easy to hang your cargo carrier. Very happy with this set-up.

Die Gurte sind sehr einfach und flexibel montierbar. Nutze die Gurte für eine Dachbox und einen Fahrradträger auf dem Dachträger montiert. Man braucht zwar 2 Personen um alles in die Gurte zu hängen, da bei mir die Gurte nicht bis auf den Boden reichten (4m Länge insgesamt), dafür kann man den Träger dann bis knapp unter die Decke hoch schieben. Somit kann ich den Platz darunter optimal nutzen.

Sowas gefällt mir. Mit minimalistischen Mitteln ein stabiles System. Meine Dachbox hält perfekt samt Querträgern.Was ich verbessern würde: wenn man zu den Schrauben noch passende Dübel packen wurde und statt der Montageplatten noch Gurtkrampen, wäre das System perfekt.

Hier kauft man zwei Gurte mit einfachsten Gurtschlössern. Dies Deckenlift zu nennen ist irreführend.Ich habe dennoch versucht sie zum Halten meiner Dachbox zu nutzen. Das Handling ist wegen der einfachen Gurtschlösser mies.Ich kann keine Kaufempfehlung geben.
