Performance Tool W41032 32 Inch Engine Lift Chain With 1,000 Lbs Max Load

I usually do not like lift plates but this one I've learned to trust. It's very solid, the welds are well done, and the variety of holes on the plate (and for the hook) allow it to work on pretty much anything. No problems lifting engine + trans. Would recommend doubling or even tripling up the nuts on the carb studs for safety, and a drop chain is always a good idea if you're not sure how deep the studs go or are working with an aluminum intake. One negative comment, due to all the holes in the plate stuff can fall into the intake with the plate on. I usually press a piece of paper onto the carb studs that goes under the plate to keep junk out, but some tape etc would work just as well. It's a pretty mild complaint, but one to keep in mind,

Had to buy all the missing bolts that it didn't have. I imagine they just throw a handful of bolts in the box and call it a day. The shipping box was covered in tape but still open on both ends. The required assembly parts are loose and not in bags. Once assembled it is as expected. Wouldn't buy it again. There are more affordable options available. Didn't use the parts tray like I thought I would.

These work great! Pulled a small block out of a truck by myself. Easily adjustable and sturdy. The price was good for a quality tool
