I used this on a 2 day trip, and it worked perfectly. I froze the inside pack and cylinder the day before. Then, that morning, I took it out of the fridge, loaded in my meds, and went to the airport. It turned out the hotel I was staying in overnight did not have a refrigerator with freezer in the room. So, I just left it in my bag other than to used the meds. I took it back the next morning, and everything was still the right temp when I got home about 36 hours after I had put it in my bag. The TSA folks on both ends knew exactly what it was, and I was able to leave it in my carry-on with zero issues. Love this thing!

Used on recent travel with the airlines for the first time, and kept my medical supplies safe & cool. I followed the instructions to make my insulin did not freeze. Before returning home I refroze the insert, it was still cool after 7 days, but needed to be solid to go through TSA check again.

I was traveling with medication for the first time and had no idea what to do. this was so simple and easy, I made it through TSA with no issues. all in all, it was exactly what I needed.

Travel Tip: I just returned from Mexico where my gel pack was confiscated, even though it was frozen. They took it because I didn't have any medication left in the tube after using it. Since I only use carry-on luggage, I don't have the option to check bags. Here are two ideas to avoid this issue: either put your used pen back in the tube after use or place the gel pack in a separate liquids bag. Both times, it was being in the tube that flagged it.The company responded very quickly to my email and resolved the issue, although I don't blame them for what happened. Hope this helps!

This is a very good quality product -- at least it arrived in good condition -- and looking forward to testing it out. I have long flights to Asia from the West Coast, so hoping it works as advertised for the 20+ hours of travel time. Packaging was good. I deducted one point for two reasons: 1. I felt that the price point was about $10 too high when compared to other, similar thermos-like products one can buy on Amazon, for example; 2. the top of the container lacks a gasket to give the last few mm of twist a secure feel. As delivered, it is a plastic to metal contact. To remedy this, I bought a rubber gasket and installed it. The top now feels more "tight" when closed.

We recently traveled to London and Paris from Florida. This product kept the insulin cold for over 48 hours. It is compact enough to easily carry it in your backpack. It made it thru customs and TSA with no problems. Only had to show proof of prescription once in London. Very good storage for insulin while traveling. The hotels put the gel pack in their freezer and we kept the canister in the room refrigerator.

Biogel pack had a bulge, worked directly with the company to troubleshoot why, after a day or two of no luck they shipped me a replacement that had no issue, received the replacement in one day. Would definitely do business with this company again.
