Black Ginger: The Book of Whiskey

A Great Poetry book for those who enjoy rabbit holes...
Black Ginger, the book of whiskeyThe part of each of us that is the real oneLooks at picturesReads poetrySees the now beyond the chatterBlack Ginger is an effort to see the now in a holistic way, in a holy way,In a way that is with form, but without form. With each reading one has to look with the eyes of the spiritAnd dream in a suspended realityAn example 5.31.13 Black Mountain:I would think that “to be swallowed… by a little distortion” might easily be the reality that truly is and is what we seek when we make an effort to see. We are "not 3-D", but in “a rabbit hole of sand.So to see this with reality in 3-D would be to see it and not understand it,But to read this with the spirit and with the rabbit hole mentality, means that one sees what was before invisible, what is beyond the chatter.I enjoyed reading this book by David Thompson and recommend it those who enjoy rabbit holes.

Great visuals through word
'Black Ginger' arrived in the mail yesterday and already had a poetry reading. While there are some poems I'm letting just "wash over me" (i.e. I do not yet understand), there are others I *really* like! Some well-crafted lines with great visuals in there too. :)
