This award-winning senz° Mini Automatic Deluxe Foldable Umbrella is windproof, lightweight and easy to hold. To open and close the umbrella, keep the long side down when you open and close it. Then point the short side of the umbrella towards the wind, especially during windy or stormy weather. The senz° mini automatic opens and closes automatically. Carefully open the strap and gently shake your umbrella prior to opening to ensure the ribs are free. Press the button to open. To close, press the button again and close the shaft by pushing simultaneously at both sides. To hold the umbrella, hold it with the short side facing the wind or hold it on your shoulders if the wind is at your back. To fold the umbrella, make sure the senz° label of the canopy is on top so you get a flap on both sides. Then fold the flaps over each other away from the label (the flap with the Velcro strap on top). Lastly, roll the Velcro strap around your senz° and put your umbrella in its sleeve. To keep the umbrella in good condition, leave your umbrella open to let it dry fully before folding and storing. It is best to clean your umbrella with water, without soap or other cleaning products. Only one design (pinstripe) which wasn't an issue for me and also advertised as brand new. However, when the first one arrived it had 2 pin holes as well as marks on the canopy so exchanged for another. The second had a faulty velcro. Senzs' quality control must have dropped but if desertcart are selling defected products it should be stated as such. Only reason for 2 stars is because the exchange/refund process was simple. Now I have to wait upto 2 weeks for a refund once returned.
