Used to replace a couple of deteriorated parts on a standard lamp
I have a couple of standard lamps that were perfectly good apart from the ring that held the shade on, had deteriorated over time. I was having to hold the shade in place by cobbling a repair from a couple of big elastic bands to hold the shade onto the bulb fitting. I used a couple of these rings on the bulb fitting, above & below the shade ring & it worked perfectly!

Perfect fit and great value
I only needed two of these to convert floor lamp shades to fit a ceiling rose. The floor lamp bases were past their best, but the shades still good to upcycle. Rather than buy new shades for the bare ceiling roses, two of these converted them to ceiling shades perfectly. Quick delivery too.

Didn’t fit any of the lightbulbs or holders
Shame, looked easy enough but just didn’t fit any of the lampshades (all Amazon bought) in my house!

Lampshade ring.
Bought for daughter who recently moved into a new house. Strangely the previous occupants had taken all the lampshades and rings with them. So a very inexpensive fix.

Far too big
Not sure what light fittings these are supposed to fit - they are absolutely huge! Waste of money - had to throw them in the bin.

Decent replacement
Our originals got lost when moving house so ordered these and they fit perfectly. We had a teetering lamp shade for a while so spotting these on Amazon has made a great difference.
