Fantastic budget offering for a standing desk of this size and shape!
TLDR:Lacks cable management solutions, but at a 3rd of the cost of the closest competition for this size and shape, that is something I am willing to add after the fact. Would buy again.Main Review:I have been looking for an adjustable L shaped desk like this for a few years now. The only option I had been able to find with a similar footprint was the Uplift’s offerings. When customized to my desired size and after selecting the “free” add-ons the total cost for that desk would be over $1600 after tax. In comparison, at the time of writing this review, I got this desk for just under $500 after tax. This desk is literally a 1/3rd of the cost of the only other competitor I have been able to find in the past 3 years of browsing. Sure, Flexispot also has some options, but the corner leg being the same as the edges just looks bad to me both visually and comfort wise. If I am spending over $200 on a desk I want it to look nice. The Build Process:I would say I am pretty experienced with assembling furniture. In a cramped room I was able to assemble this desk and mount 5 arms to it in about 3 hours. The parts look overwhelming when sprawled out on the floor, but the instructions are very clear and easy to understand. The only part that is a little confusing is orienting the table top so the L is facing the way you want it. Just double check the orientation and remember that the shape will be reversed when you flip it over and you should be fine. In terms of tools, I would highly recommend a drill since there are a ton of screws for this build. I would also recommend magnetic bits or starting the assembly with a magnetic screwdriver before switching to the drill as the machine screws in particular can be quite annoying when they fall into the channels.I like that the cable for controlling the desk’s height is just long enough that I can mount it to the mounting points at the far side of the desk. I wanted the controller out of the way as I don’t need constant access to it and I did not want it in the most high traffic corner of the desk. There was just enough slack to achieve that goal even if the desk was not designed with that in mind. Moving the Desk: I would not recommend building this entirely alone. I am quite good at moving and building large furniture solo and I had to call my brother over to help me stabilize the table as I flipped it around. Its large size and awkward shape made me fear that I would damage the desk in the process of flipping it.I built the desk a few feet away from the wall to give myself space to mount all my arms to the desk comfortably. Moving the desk with multiple monitors mounted is pretty much impossible to do without some furniture gliders and even then it’s a slow process. I would highly recommend 3 people, one at each leg, for moving the desk to its final home.Performance:I have a lot of weight on this desk and it is holding up well. I have a heavy mid tower PC with some beefy components on the edge of the desk. I have a 27in display, a 32in OLED, a 22in pen display, a DSLR, and a microphone all mounted to the back corner of the desk and it feels solid. I also have the underside of the desk loaded down with various power bricks, a few usb hubs /switchers, an external capture card, and a power strip. I would not want to lay on the desk as its not a single panel, but for everyday use I don’t foresee any issues. I definitely feel like I could mount more things to it or have another computer on the desk with no issues.Cable Mangement:Cable management is very important for a height adjustable desk and this does not come with anything out of the box. I decided to 3D print the modular Underware system. It has online tools for generating custom mounts for power bricks which is important when you have a lot of monitors. I also liked the idea of only screwing a plate into my brand new desk once. The modularity meant that I could make changes later without adding any additional screws into the desk. One downside of this desk in terms of cable management is that there is not much space to work with in the back of the desk since all the hardware for adjusting the height sits further back. This means most of the available mounting space is in the front which is not ideal for cable management.

Absolutely love. Make sure to assemble in the room you plan to use.
It took a little bit of time, but it was well worth it. Very sturdy and a lot of room. It does roll easily however I would measure before assembling. Make sure you assemble in the room you plan on using it just in case it cannot turn your corners or go through your doorway. It is slightly on the bigger side, but it’s assembled correctly. You will be very pleased. I did assemble it by myself and I am 52 years old. I did have power tools that I decided to use my hand tools. I’m glad I did because unless you have a guard on your drill, you could go through the wood and that’s not good. Loved that it came with wheels and it was an easy attachment. I’m considering purchasing another one. It does go up and down smoothly. I purchased two power blocks that I clamp on either side of the desk and it has became the main power station for my son. I love it because all you have to do is unplug the main extension into the wall. No more having to pull out so many plugs and using so many extension cords. Absolutely love this. Considering buying another one for myself. highly recommend.

Strong. Clean. Straight. Easy to install.
Super easy to put together. Took about 30 minutes. Mind you I'm very good at building things. Was able to do it all alone. If you are not strong you will need help doing the final flip after mounting everything. I highly reccomend using a drill with adjustable tourque settings (basically a standard drill). There are alot of screws. A drill allows you to fly through it without over screwing.Desk came perfect without scratches. It's holds my set up without any issues. And moves faster than I thought. Pretty quiet too. Money well spent!

VIVO Electric Corner L-Shaped 63" x 55" Standing Desk: A Solid Choice for the Home Office Upgrade
Okay, here's a review of the VIVO Electric Corner L-Shaped 63" x 55" Standing Desk, considering common customer needs and concerns for this type of product:The VIVO Electric Corner L-Shaped Standing Desk is a compelling option for anyone looking to upgrade their home office or workspace with a spacious, ergonomic, and adjustable desk. This desk offers a large work surface, motorized height adjustment, and corner design – all features that can significantly improve productivity and comfort.Pros:Generous Work Surface: The 63" x 55" L-shape provides ample space for multiple monitors, a laptop, paperwork, and peripherals. This is ideal for multitasking, creative work, or anyone who simply likes to spread out. The corner design maximizes space utilization, fitting snugly into corners and freeing up valuable floor area.Electric Height Adjustment: The motorized lift system is the star of the show. Smooth and relatively quiet, it allows you to easily transition between sitting and standing positions throughout the day. This is a huge benefit for reducing sedentary behavior and promoting better posture. Presets allow you to save your preferred heights for quick and easy adjustments.Ergonomic Benefits: The adjustable height promotes a more ergonomic workspace, reducing strain on your back, neck, and wrists. Being able to switch between sitting and standing can combat fatigue and improve focus.Sturdy Construction: While not always the absolute most premium material, VIVO generally provides good quality for the price. The steel frame feels stable and capable of handling a decent amount of weight. (Check the specified weight capacity before loading it up, though!)Relatively Easy Assembly: While assembling an L-shaped desk can be a bit more involved than a standard rectangular desk, the instructions are generally clear, and most users report a manageable assembly process. Having a second person to help is highly recommended, especially when attaching the tabletop.Price Point: VIVO often offers a competitive price point compared to other brands offering similar features. This makes it an attractive option for those on a budget who still want a quality standing desk.Cons:Tabletop Quality: This is a common area where VIVO desks can vary. The tabletop material (often particleboard with a laminate finish) may not be as durable or scratch-resistant as solid wood or higher-end materials. Consider using a desk mat to protect the surface. The tabletop is often in multiple pieces, joined together, which can create visible seams.Motor Noise: While the motor is relatively quiet, it's not silent. Some users may find the noise slightly distracting, especially in a very quiet environment.Cable Management: While some VIVO desks include basic cable management options, they may not be sufficient for everyone. You may need to invest in additional cable ties, trays, or grommets to keep your workspace tidy and prevent tangled cords.Stability at Maximum Height: As with most standing desks, stability can be slightly compromised at the highest settings. This is more noticeable with heavier loads on the desk.Customer Service: VIVO's customer service can be hit or miss, according to some user reviews. While many have positive experiences, others report slow response times or difficulty resolving issues.Things to Consider Before Buying:Weight Capacity: Check the specified weight capacity of the desk and ensure it meets your needs. Overloading the desk can damage the motor or compromise stability.Room Size: The L-shape is great for corners, but make sure you have enough space in your room to accommodate the desk comfortably.Monitor Setup: If you plan to use multiple monitors, consider the weight and size of your monitors to ensure they will fit on the desk and that the desk can support their weight.Tabletop Material: Be aware of the tabletop material and its potential limitations in terms of durability and scratch resistance. Consider a desk mat.Assembly Time: Set aside enough time for assembly, and consider having a helper.Overall:The VIVO Electric Corner L-Shaped 63" x 55" Standing Desk is a good value for those seeking a large, adjustable, and ergonomic workspace. While the tabletop quality may not be top-of-the-line, the sturdy frame, smooth electric height adjustment, and generous surface area make it a worthwhile investment for improving productivity and comfort in the home office. Just be sure to consider the potential drawbacks and choose a desk mat and cable management solutions to enhance your experience. If you prioritize a large, adjustable workspace at a reasonable price, this VIVO desk is definitely worth considering.
