For a camping trip, it worked well within it's capabilities.
I bought this on a whim because of some cash back on my credit card. I used this for a 4 day camping trip in FL. I'm going to say this is good so far. I used it mainly for powering USB lights. Think.... Long strings of lights and a few other gadgets I wanted on for hours on end at night. The limited number of USB connections isn't an issue if you get the extra power adapter to plug in 12 volt accessories. I just used a multi usb hub. I powered up the AC section of the device to top off my IPAD using the ipad's dedicated usbC power brick. The good thing the power station charges at an OK rate with it's included power brick. I have only applied solar charging to it briefly to confirm it does charge without issue with what I already had available at home. Keep it in the voltage range though if ya do this.Thing of note like a few other devices I've had before.... If you don't have enough load on this, it will time out and shut down on it's own. So if you're charging something and the charge stops, the unit will cut itself off in a very short period of time. In fact, the persistence to shut itself down without a current draw is pretty aggressive. Again, not bad, just note it.During the camping trip I used a much MUCH larger power station to recharge this device. Running the KOYOT Solar Generator for smaller things is much more efficient than it would have been for me to use the larger battery.

Dang….
I read all of the reviews for this before I bought it. I wish I would have listened this time… Usually I take bad reviews on Amazon with a grain of salt because people can be stupid and not understand what they are going to get, but the bad reviews are in fact real and correct. Everything everyone else said is true. Can’t turn it off all of the way, doesn’t hold a charge (probably because it is in standby mode by default). The light is nothing to write home about. I have a better light on my keychain. Can’t power anything that you might really need to in AC. This is basically a giant battery bank for cellphones and trinkets. What a ripoff. The worst part is that my return window closed before I was able to give it a test in the real world, and I financed it through affirm. So for the next 10 months I’ll get a $10-something reminder of what a turd I bought…

Won't hold a charge
I was really looking forward to using this, but the first time I needed it, it was Dead (after I had charged it up...or so I thought)I took it home & plugged it in to charge, and the screen just blinks. I left it to charge overnight, but the second I unplug the power cable, the battery dies. It's not charging at all.Very disappointed.

Decent battery life but takes FOREVER to charge.
The battery life on this one is pretty good considering the bad ratings it has received. It is pretty good so far. I power my laptops and cameras with it. However, it takes at least 7-9 hours to charge from 0 to 100. As stated by other posters, you really need to watch the battery I normally sit mine behind a timer to save the battery. I really like that it is relatively lightweight. Another hate is all bars and no numbers! The handle is pretty convenient for carrying and it is small and light enough to fit in my laptop/camera bad.

Great price, works well. Perfect for the winter storm!
I have had the Yeti 200x 187w portable power on my wish list for awhile, but it’s priced at $300. It has a lot of add-on components making it very versatile but expensive to continue to add-on and could end up with almost another $500 in accessories. The Koyot portable power delivers 250w of portable power, it’s easy to charge and use. If you want to charge the unit with solar then you will need to buy panels. It has a variety of input and output plugs for just about any device, a flash light and a nice size LCD screen.Overall, the unit is compact, has nice weight to it so it doesn’t fall over and it charge up just about everything we take on camping or in the RV. This will come in handy when the power is knocked out during the winter storms and we need to continue with work or school projects. For less than $200, this would make a great holiday gift for any family.

Buyer beware
I've bought two of these and have had several issues with them that others should be aware of.The Pros: the sizeThe cons are much longer...- Advertised at 250wh, but the instructions have it rated at 202Wh.- Advertised at 250 watts continues with a 400 peak, the instructions have it at 200 and 250- It often just won't turn off which drains the battery- No way I can find to 'know' the battery is going to turn off- Charge time is pretty bad. Takes 8 hours.- readout is nearly impossible to read if there is any light outI would recommend something from Ecoflow if you can swing it. These are not worth it. Really wish I sent mine back
