Using this for my quince!!
pretty much just like the picture! im 5’2 and I will be using this for my quince dress (ofc this goes on top of the crinoline). Good quality and no bad smells. Love it

Nice, fluffy, and full
It is really full and does have the 8 layers.. It does expand more when you get out and hang with direct sunlight for a day or two. Instructions said to leave out in sunlight but I just put on my shower curtain rod which gets sunlight from the windows.

Smells like fish, but works great!
I used this under my vintage wedding dress which was pretty thin fabric and somewhat sheer, and it was the only thing that you couldn’t see through the skirt! It definitely smelled strongly of fish, but I steamed each layer and it gave the volume that I needed, which is good enough for me! I opened it the day before, so maybe if it had more time to air out it wouldn’t have smelled so strong! But either way, I’m very pleased with it. :) it wasn’t so bad that I worried people were going to smell it under my dress. If you buy, let it air out and definitely steam it to get the full puff!!

Best Petticoat EVER
I work as a docent at the local historical society and have had a few petticoats over the years. This is the best one ever! It will stand on its own. Does not collapse under the weight of my skirts. The waist is elastic with an opening in the back secured with a piece of Velcro and a string. I have a 35” waist. This has one of the smaller diameters for the waist. It fits me and the string secures it. The string is long. So if the elastic waistband with the Velcro does not fit, the string will probably be long enough to keep the skirt up.Very strongly recommended.

Smelled like something dead. Unusable.
This was for my daughter's wedding. We opened the airtight package and nearly gagged over the stench from the thing. We left it hanging outside for a full day and night. Put in the dryer with dryer sheets. Sprayed it LIBERALLY with Febreze. Took it to the church and had to bring it back because it stunk up the entire dressing room. As a last ditch effort, we washed it with Woolite and a cup of white vinegar and dried again with dryer sheets and still reeked. The girls then tried drenching it in perfume. It was all futile. Very disappointing and a waste of money.
