Okay ladies... this is the FOURTH mirror I purchased... and it's a keeper! This was a frustrating experience, as my longtime plug-in magnifying mirror finally broke after many years and I'd never have guessed that finding a replacement would become such a chore. I spent up to $80 and each mirror I purchased had (A) a terrible magnifying side, it was blurry and/or distorted, and (B) the light was too dim. I still cannot believe that so many other 10x mirrors have such a terrible magnification side. I had to put my face so close to see clearly, and as soon as I moved my face the image was distorted again, it made me dizzy. On mirror after mirror. Conair. Floxite. Zadro. Bought it, then returned it. Time after time.THIS GEM has an excellent quality magnifying side (tho' I do believe it may not be 10x... it seems very slightly smaller, like maybe 8x? -and I'm just guessing, becuz the magnification is definitely strong enuf to tweeze or apply makeup, including my false eyelashes, I need strong magnification to apply those! I'm 64 years old.) Also previous reviewers say the light is too dim. The light is BRIGHT! You just need to be sure to follow the directions (press on the little icon, and don't lift your finger until the light is at it's brightest). I never planned on using this purchase for travel, however the round base easily unscrews, therefore YES this will very easily pack flat in a suitcase. My other hesitation was the re-charging necessity as I prefer a simple full time wall plug. This mirror arrived fully charged and as I already wrote, the light is plenty bright. I have no idea how long this charge will last, or how often I'll need to re-charge it. There were no reviews stating an issue re-charging it, so I'm confident it will work just fine.So bottom line, I am THRILLED with this simple and reasonably-priced make-up mirror.

I bought this because I don’t have a plug nearby, so I needed a cordless, lighted mirror. This one is ok, but has 2 flaws. It’s rechargeable, without batteries, so you have to plug it in to charge. Not a huge deal other than it takes a long time to charge fully (longer than overnight) and the charge doesn’t last more than a few days. I only have the light on less than an hour a day, for reference. I needed a cordless mirror, but this has to be plugged in very frequently, so it defeats the purpose. The other drawback is the on/off switch. It’s a touch sensor on one side of the mirror face. So if you’re using the magnifying side, you have to flip the mirror over to turn it off. I feel I’m constantly flipping it. Again, not a huge deal, but it’s annoying. The light is super bright and having two sides (one for magnification) are pluses.

I bought a similar mirror at a department store a couple of years ago at a much higher price tag. The light on that one stopped charging after a year. Hoping I have better luck with this one, which is a much better price. So far it is excellent.

I like this mirror after returning several others. It stands tall so I can easily see. The actual mirror is wider than others. It has lighting but it doesn't illuminate my face much. I like that I can plug it in to recharge it, which is relatively fast and has a green light to let you know when it's fully charged. It's easy to clean EXCEPT where they put their sticker. The only drawback is the 10x does not seem to be actually 10x. Cannot imagine traveling with something this big!

The magnification and lighting are great with this mirror. Several different lighting options. My old eyes can see for tweezing and make up application.

This is a really nice mirror. It is rechargeable by USB plug. The light is so bright and has 3 different colors for different times of the day or different lighting. It’s also a heavy mirror so no worries about it falling over like other mirrors that have a suction cup on the bottom.

This is a lovely mirror. However, the lights do not allow you to see yourself. They provide a glare that makes it impossible to see yourself clearly. I have to turn off the lights and use a table lamp to get an idea of where my makeup is going. Sorry, do not recommend!

You can only change brightness regular side, not the10x side. Its irritating having to flip over all the time. Also the charge doesn’t last long.
