Love this pressure washer!
Easy assembly, nice fit and finish particularly the aluminum frame. Honda engine is awesome and started on the first pull. Plenty of power to pressure wash deeply for driveways, etc.

would not run :(
Purchased this machine because it had the Honda GX engine & because it was made in the USA! Have several other Honda powered pieces of equipment that have been reliable, easy start and trouble free. However, this SIMPSON power washer would not start I should say, after about 5 tries it did start several times but then immediately died Took me repeated tries (nearly an hour) with waiting, in case it was flooded, between tries. Once I did finally get it started I could not adjust the choke or throttle, as suggested in the manual, without the machine dying . The machine only ran for a few minutes before it began backfiring. It would only run without backfiring if the water wand was kept in the washing position at all times. I could not take my hand off the wand handle or the machine would backfire. After calling the help line their only suggestion was for me to take this brand new machine into the repair shop. It was Saturday, mid day by this time, and the repair shop did not have a repair person available to help so would have to leave it for them to look at in a few days or so. Out of frustration I tried to go ahead and continue using it and kept the power wand in the open-wash position but gradually the machine started backfiring anyway. I turned it off and let it rest thinking maybe it was hot (my previous power washer - 15 years old - would run and run until out of gas, then I would let it rest and cool before re-filling the gas tank.) After turning it off, I was not able to restart it again. I had hired a couple young men to come help me move items, power wash under & behind, then return the items to their proper place. Many of the things had already been moved. I Needed to get power washing under and behind before returning them to their place. I had already been paying for them to stand around while trying to get the machine started then trouble shoot on the phone. I had to go buy a Costco power washer so I could get the work done while I had helpers!!! Now the company whom sent this is saying it can not be shipped after oil & gas have been added. It had oil in the pump when it was shipped so this does not ring true. Besides I can completely empty the gas and let any residual evaporate and the oil can be drained. I do not need 2 power washers and certainly not one that doesn't work! Needless to say I am not a happy camper right now! I purchased this through AMAZON so hopefully their guarantee will help me with this problem. P.S. This machine is now on line for $100.00 less than my purchase price :(

Great pressure washer!
I upgraded to this machine after using an electric pressure washer for the last couple of years. It is amazing how much easier cleaning task can be with more pressure and water flow. Assembly of the Simpson pressure washer was quick and easy. The Honda engine started right away. If you are looking for a solid machine this is it!

I like it but not in love with it.
This is a very nice washer. That being said not shire it’s a $675.00 with tax pressure washer but time will tell. The good started on the first pull. And did a good job on my driveway ran two tanks of gas though it about 4 hours running time. Nice power and engine ran smoothly. I did jump up to a 3/8 x 50 foot hose did not use the 5/16 hose that came with it. So I can’t say anything about it. Used a survive cleaner and a longer wand extension the one that comes with it is only about 13 inches long. So all in all with new hose and wand extension I have about $750 in this thing. The bad it moves all over the place on the driveway when it’s running so I put a old door Matt under it and it did stay put on the Matt so keep that in mind if you buy this thing you’re going to need some extra things too make it a little more useable. Also I used Honda oil in the engine instead of the oil that comes with it it’s a lot smaller than it looks in the picture and it’s not very heavy at all with the aluminum frame. So if you’re like me the size helps to store it as space is a problem with only a too car garage. I hope that it grows on me more as I use it. I do like it but I don’t love it for what I paid if that makes sense.

Great quality
The pressure washer itself is high quality. Did get slightly confused as the was 2 places to add oil to the engine. Other than that once set up it cranked in 2 pulls. Plenty of pressure.

Disapointed in manufacturer's packaging
Looks to be a good product. Bought it to use on my farm for various cleaning jobs. Ordered it 2-26-26, delivered 3-2-26. Opened box to assemble and use first time today 4-4-26. Found that the end of a threaded pipe that a hose connects to had suffered some damage in shipping. There was not sufficient protective packaging material at the point where the pipe was very close to the inside wall of the heavy corrugated shipping box. Lack of sufficient protective packaging allowed the pipe to contact the inside wall of the box. Something hard contacted the box sidewall with enough force that the box wall was punctured and the plastic cap on the pipe (used to protect the treads) was destroyed and allowed the threads of the pipe to be damaged, rendering it unusable. Now I must get a replacement part for the destroyed one. I can not rate the product for performance as yet.

Price is high, but so is the quality.
Really powerful, I had to brace myself to use it on a ladder, it actually kicks back. Really fast to unload and set up and it's made from quality materials that look good and work well. I'm hoping is does as well as my 24 year old Sears power washer that I died this summer. The seal blew on the pump, but i ran it and ran it for years. It started on the second pull after 20 years, it was awesome. I wanted to spend less, but honestly, you are not going to find a quality machine for $500. You get what you pay for, I buy things to last. My chain saw was purchased in 1993, My weed wacker 2000, both are Stihl. Stihl doesn't make a power washer so I chose this one after researching it for 3 months. So far, so good. I'll amend this after a Summer of use and then after a few years of use.

Packaged, crated and shipped extremely well - no problems and no damage. Started up right away - 4 pulls after assembling out of the box. It ran for several hours straight and didn't stall once. It felt more powerful than others that claim 3400 psi, but that's hard to quantify. The frame is made well, there's adequate clearance on the underside, the handle is a good length away from the engine that it balances well when moving,, and the wheels are a good size with good treads. Both the printed instructions and the labels attached to the engine and sprayer were complete, comprehensive, and very well done (I appreciate instructions in proper English with good diagrams!) It even looks impressive with the red Honda engine, black trim, grey hose, and aluminum frame. I just hope the Honda engine lives up to its reputation for longevity. The only "complaints" (and they are minor) are the spare spray nozzles can't be snapped on to the frame (they just rest in holes), the hose is stiff and challenging to unwind when coming out of the box, it is difficult to coil the hose and hang it from the frame after use (hanger doesn't hold all the hose), the handle kicks a fair bit when the trigger is depressed (because of the power), and my neighbours like it so much they've already asked to borrow it several times!

Initial start was difficult - it could use a prime bulb The throttle was stuck and I had to pull very hard to release it. After working it back and forth 20 times it loosened up. After that it ran perfectly. I used it for an hour without issue. The throttle gives good control. Some complained about backfiring when shut off. This only happened at full throttle. The easy fix is to throttle down before shutting off the engine, not a surprise. The hose is super stiff but works. easily replaceable if you don’t like it.

I was amazed at how small and light this unit was. My 12 yo daughter can lift it in and out of the truck.. BUT.... I bought this for use on a job site. Got it late this afternoon. Being no stranger to Honda engines I expected to be up and running in a couple pulls.. Nope, just flooded.. Pulled the spark plug, dried it off, checked gap - it was off by 0.4 mm - adjusted it, pulled the starter cord a few times.. reinstalled plug.. tried again.. nope just a single backfire that brought the cop next door rushing over.. It's not even trying to tun over Honestly a brand new Honda motor should be a no brainer. Very tempted to just drain the gas and oil and return it.. will update tomorrow after I take the time day off to troubleshoot further Update.. Figure the pressure washer had been stored or transported upside down. the spark plug was coated in oil, something I missed when I checked the gap, air filter was saturated as well so had to replace that. Fired up on first pull once I cleaned up all the oil, adjusted the throttle and it runs well. One thing that I find annoying is it's so light and the vibration tends to make the machine walk on its own, so chock the tires and keep it away from any curbs or other drops Further Update Like others I am having difficulties starting this pressure washer on subsequent days. The process has become an ordeal. Several pulls, let sit 10 minutes, several pulls, get 1 backfire, let sit 10 minutes, several pulls, get the first signs of sputtering life, let sit 10 minutes, several pulls and it'll start but stalls in 30-60 seconds, another 10 minutes and it'll start.. Replaced the air filter, cleaned the carb, replaced the spark plug.. still near impossible to start.. Returning it
