Good For The Price - Updated - Updated Again - And Again Another Update
Yet Another Update: This is a few months behind. After my previous update, the seller reached out to me again and sent me another pair of headphones, no questions asked. I got them relatively quickly, tested them out, they worked, but in the meantime, I had ordered a different pair of headphones from my preferred company: Skull Candy. The seller did send a few emails asking me to revise this review. I will not delete anything that I've written, but I will add this update that if you have problems with the headset, the seller is eager to make things right. I have not used the headphones since I got them and tested them, and will use them as back up should my Skull Candy headphones kick the bucket one day, and I'm waiting on an order for another pair. These are cheap headphones, but if that's all you can afford, get them. Otherwise, maybe use them as a back up.Nonetheless, because the seller was very involved in trying to make me a happy customer, I will update the stars because customer service seems to be a dying thing these days, but this company is on top of it if you have any problems with the headphones, and I have to commend them for that.Update: So these have gone up in price. This is a ripoff. I bought them when they were $20 which was fair because if you want to use them on your PC, YOU have to buy an adapter separately, these do NOT come with the adapter. So for that, you're going to spend another $5 making this headset now a $32 headset plus shipping/handling. These are NOT WORTH that kind of money. These are cheap headsets, these are $20 headsets, these are NOT $30 headsets. I highly recommend that people not even bother to spend that kind of money for this headset when there are very similar headsets out there that are still in the $20 or less range that will sound exactly the same as these. Why am I back here? Because these broke. I ordered these in June 2017. It's now January 2018. My headset is useless. The area in the center of the cord that hold the mic volume adjustment housing has caused problems with the wiring. I had to constantly unplug the set from the laptop and let the cord unwind so that it would be straight again. The cord kinks up really, really easily. What happens when the cord does that is that the wires inside start to act up.Additionally, at both ends of the mic volume adjustment housing in the center of the cord, one end started fraying. In 6 months. That's ridiculous, and now they want more $ for these headphones? Are they kidding me? The things only last 6 fricken months! I do not slam my headphones around, I don't toss them in a bag, I don't even take them out of the house. They are by my PC when I'm not using them, and on my head when they are. I set them down, gently, when I take them off. When I have to unplug them because the cord has kinked up YET again, I hold them by the headphones to let the cord spin back to normal. And they lasted a whopping 6 months.I came back here to buy another pair because even though the mic really isn't that great (not compared to other mics out there that sound crisp and clear), the headset itself wasn't that bad, and the music sounded pretty good through them. But if they only last 6 months at a time, there's NO WAY I'm spending $30 on another pair.By the way, I will commend them for finally putting up an image showing how to connect the headset to various devices. They did not have that when I ordered these.Original Update below initial review:Last night the mic went out on my other headphones, which will just not do. After spending several hours looking around at various gaming headsets, I decided to give these a try because they had pretty good reviews not only here but on YouTube as well. I am not one of those who thinks you "have" to spend hundreds for high quality gaming headsets to be able to enjoy gaming. When I'm wealthier, then I'll do that.I happened to get my order in time to get it delivered same day...which is something I have never experienced before. That's just incredible...Anyway, finally the headphones arrived about 8 hours after I ordered them. I unboxed them, put them on my head and immediately felt a huge difference in how they feel sitting there as compared to SEVERAL other pairs of headsets I've owned. These are quite comfortable. I'm very surprised.Ok...that's all well and good, how do they sound? I have a song that I use to judge all headphones/headsets by, and I clicked 'play' on the video. The sound came out of my laptop.I will spare you the drama. I spent far too long trying to figure out how to get a pair of headphones to work that should have worked by just plugging it in to the jack. It's a jack! It should work right off. I was to the point of thinking that the headset didn't even work, except for the lighting from the USB, and was thinking I was going to have to return them.At the same time I found out that you can NOT use the mic and the headphones at the same time, nor did I even get a mic jack at all! Seriously? No mic jack with what you get in the box? I didn't remember reading that, and I sure didn't see that on the multiple reviews that I watched on YouTube. I watched people unbox these, plug them in, get in to a game, and talk about the sound AND THE MIC. Where was the mic jack? That was the whole dang point of ordering these! Why have a headset with a mic on it and not provide a way to both hear and talk at the same time? What is that?I read the reviews again. No mention of this that I could find. I read the questions. Did not see it mentioned. Read every last word on the product page, and there it was, hidden all the way at the bottom right next to a pic talking about the flexible headband. Since I do not care if the headband is that flexible, I didn't read the words next to that pic.So now I have to buy an adapter. I really wish I had known this before I ordered these. I would have searched for one on here and ordered it at the same time, saving me shipping costs. I am not happy that they put that very important piece of information way at the bottom of the description after making no mention of that earlier.Back to the sound. I finally got the sound to come through the headphones. Ok. Are they the best? No. Are they good? Yes. The bass is good. I cannot believe this sound is coming out of $20 headphones. It's not the top of the line quality, no, but for the price, you are getting decent sound.I've seen others state that they got about a year out of these...that's not too bad for the price, but after having just about every pair of headphones I've owned have some problem, I'm leery to get my hopes up.Overall first impression is good with the exception of the fact that I did not see that I would have to get an adaptor to be able to use the mic. Again, that was the entire reason I ordered the headset...and now I can't use it until I can find this adapter and the time go get it. First world problem, sure, but it is a let down nonetheless. And yes, I knew that it was not the USB. I thought that we were getting two jacks - one for the mic and one for the headphones.I will update this after some time if anything goes wrong or if they are still working after a good chunk of time. And will also eventually update whenever I can get an adapter...which I'm not happy about that I have to make a trip to the store that I didn't want to have to take. Pointless to order it on Amazon now if I can find it since I'll spend more for the shipping than the item will cost, undoubtedly.Update: The company reached out to me after reading my review. They offered some compensation that I did not ask for, and we had a discussion about the placement of the information regarding the jacks on their product page. In the end, they offered a compensation I would not have expected, and were very eager to turn this middle of the road review in to a more positive review. They were quick to communicate...which is always a plus because too many companies act like you don't even exist. We had a few emails back and forth requesting certain things, and in the end, I have decided to up this to a 4 star.Again, for the price, this headset is comfortable, I've not had even a HINT of a headache and I've worn them daily since I got them...for hours each day...not just to listen to music, video, or while gaming, but because I have obnoxious neighbors who don't know how to be quiet. The sound is pretty darn good for the price. Of course a headest worth a few hundred is going to sound way better, but for $20, these are comparable to headsets for which I've paid 2 to 3 times as much.I have yet to test the mic as I still have to get the adapter, and that is the reason I am making these 4 star. They are good, they are not jaw dropping incredible, and you do have to buy an extra part to make them work. Once I get the adapter and test the mic, I will update this again.Update 07/14/17: Today my adapter showed up in the mail. Plugged everything in to the adapter and then adapter to the appropriate jacks, double checked "level" under recording devices in sound, pulled up Sound Recorder, blabbered something, listened back...let me tell you all, the mic is surprisingly good! I've been using the Microsoft LiveChat headset for awhile because my Razers died and the LiveChat has crap for sound in headphones but fantastic mic....well...this mic on this headset, once you get the adapter, sounds just. as. good. I am pleasantly surprised. I did not think the mic was going to be this clear. No echo, no hissing, no buzzing, no weird metallic sound to your voice...This is a good headset to get, (you have to get the adapter, too, sold separately), if you're wanting to game, have a good headset but don't have the hundreds of dollars for high end headsets. You don't have to. You spend $20 on this headset, $6 on the adapter, you are set.NOW we have to see how long these last....

Exceptionally comfortable for sensitive ears!
I have very sensitive skin, especially around the ears. Any pressure on them makes me very uncomfortable. I usually wear clip-on headphones with no band, so that my ears dont hurt, as my ear holes are way too small for earbud style sound devices. However, for gaming and recording, a headset with mic is necessary. These are remarkably lightweight and are not tight on the ears, giving hardly any pressure, and I'm able to wear these for several hours before I need to give my ears a rest. They are easy to adjust on the band, but also stay in one place without slipping while wearing them. Once you put them on your head, they stay put, and and dont slide around. The sound quality to the earphones is terrific. Also the mic delivers superior sound to your streaming or recording without feedback or scratching. The cord is wonderfully long also, and has a velcro strap to loop it back up safely and well-organized. The mic boom swings up and down (vertically, in front of the face for use & out of the way against the headset band for storage), but not short / long, nor closer or away from the face. It's a stiff plastic rod boom that does not shake while in use. But the boom is long enough and angled in the perfect way to be the proper distance away from the mouth to get good sound quality from your speech for any adult's head. I've never had any problem with the stiff boom. I love it exactly where it is. It is in a place where it never feels like it has to be adjusted closer or further from my mouth. Not too close to it and not too far, either. It's in the Goldilocks zone if you ask me. This works fantastic with Hauppauge gaming recorders between console and PC. Just plug the USB 1.0 port into the PC, and the mic jack into the Hauppauge mic input port, then configure the Hauppauge audio input setting to the mic. Then you can adjust input audio for both the headphones and game audio separately. I found that a slightly louder setting for the headset over the game audio produced a better balance between the game sound and my voice. But I have a quiet voice, so that may be the reason I need to adjust that in that specific way. I never get any feedback or scratchy sounds through the mic, unless I'm directly fiddling with the mouthpiece. It doesnt make any noise if you adjust it by the boom. This headset works great for PC and through all major consoles. The good looks and pretty blue glowing lights are just a bonus, compared to the other great features and capabilities this headset has, especially for the low price. Definitely a wise investment for the gamer on a tight budget like myself.

GREAT Headset for Value
The headset is a great headset for it's value. the sound is great, the mic is clear for my friends when I talk, and I LOVE the volume adjuster and mute feature like the other name brands have. The headset overall has a nice design, and the cable for it is braided too, which I personally like as I find it more durable than your conventional rubber coated cord. Doesn't tangle as much either. Now for the downside. I seem to find that the actual part that sits over your ears, doesn't pivot enough, thus not cupping my ears properly. It doesn't sit on my head properly, thus allowing a very uncomfortable feeling to wear. I usually game for about 12 hours a day with this whole COVID19 Quarantine and not having anything better to do. Of those 12 hours, I spend at least half of that time wearing my headset talking to friends. It can tend to get very annoying to wear, especially on those very intense gaming sessions with my buddies. That's really my only issue with the headset, otherwise it is a good headset. I use the headset for my Xbox One, and although it's really not the biggest deal, I do wish that the USB part of the cord could have been a few feet longer than the AUX that plugs into the controller so I could actually make use of the LIGHTING feature that the headset has, although it doesn't affect the overall functionality of the product. Either they could have made the USB Cable longer, or they could have included a USB extension cable with the product so I could have made use of the light feature the headset has.Overall, if I had to give the headset a Overall General rating, it would probably have to be a solid 6-7 / 10. It works well for what I need it to do, and it gets the job done well.
