Excellent makeup remover. I use waterproof mascara, and my makeup wipes never quite removed all of it. So I first use Albolene on my eye makeup, wipe off with a tissue, and then use my makeup wipe to remove the residue of my mascara. Of course, it removes foundation as well. After removing my foundation, I use a warm washcloth to remove any remaining foundation. Then I use an astringent on a flat cotton round, which catches anything else that may have been trapped in my pores. My skin is very clean and fresh.Keep in mind this is not a typical cream. I was expecting a cream, but it is a stiff petroleum jelly. It is stiffer than Vaseline. But it softens when you use it with your fingers. It will last forever. Glad I found it, and the price is right.

This is great for many things. Great for sweating at the gym! Literally you’ll look like you just got out of the sauna while working out. Great to take of your makeup like a makeup removing balm. Also great for very dry/scalpy skin! I personally use it for the gym but your body will love and appreciate how soft you feel after words.

Since the recent new pricing on many of the items that I purchase, I had decided to start looking for cheaper versions or dupes of what I would normally buy. I tend to go for the prestige brands because that’s just me and I just feel like quality is very important to me, especially for my skin. So when my favorite make up remover skyrocketed and extra $13 when it was already 20 some dollars I decided I was not paying that price anymore. So I just got on Amazon and searched makeup remover balm, and this is the one that popped up. It had tons of positive reviews and once I received this product, I will say it’s a huge jar, like this particular makeup remover which I’ve never heard of this brand ever in my life, but this particular makeup remover is very very good. I mean the amount that you get for the price you pay is amazing. I was sold immediately on the size like literally sold once I use this make up remover, which is a solid clear type of balm, and you take it a little bit out and you rub it in your hand and rub it on your face and it turns into like a oil base and you don’t even need to use water, you can just take like one of those make up towels and wipe it off but what I tend to do is I will put the balm in my hand, let it melt 1st, then rub it on my face and take some makeup wipes, and take off the ointment off. I will do that about three times and then I will follow up with a liquid cleanser, so I double cleanse, whenever I wear makeup. I do not take off my eye makeup with this bomb as I use a liquid eye makeup remover for my eyes only. I will continue to repurchase this over and over and over again, so glad I found this. Definitely saving me some money. Wish I had known about this product years ago.

You get a full 12 oz for about $10 bucks. Inexpensive but effective. First two ingredients are mineral oil and petrolatum. Petroleum jelly and mineral oil to provide the give, the stretch in the mix. Note: if you tend to break out, be careful bc mineral oil may cause breakouts. The trick is to be sure it’s completely washed off, which you should be doing anyway. I use waterproof mascara and this works without irritation to my eyes. Personally I follow up with a gentle cleanser to make sure EVERYTHING is cleansed off the skin.It doesn’t strip your skin and leave it feeling parched or dried out. I think the second cleanse is necessary, primarily bc of the mineral oil. It’s an inexpensive way to get makeup off and skin clean. Definitely recommend and will eventually repurchase but when I say you get a full 12 oz. It’s brimming to the very top of the container. Leaves skin very soft and foundation seems to glide on. Very pleased.
