Once again I am surprised at the results exceeded my expectations and meeting my hopes. No this is not a placebo effect.I have been waking up in the middle of the night hungry and that no longer happens and I wake up not hungry. Amazing! I am going to take advantage of this!I have some difficulty swallowing capsules however I take my time and drink water and if need be have a bite of food to carry it along, I do.

Appears to be working for my blood sugars
I've taken berberine before, but a different brand and dosage. Across the board, most of the brands I've tried, I've had success with. So I was hopeful this would be the same. And it was. There was a period where I wasn't taking any berberine, I wanted to see what would happen to my blood sugars. Things started to creep up and that's when I got these.They're fairly standard in size and easy to swallow. Just be sure to take a big drink of water or else the capsule can get stuck. While these aren't terrible tasting, they aren't the best either, if they get stuck and start to dissolve. Once I started taking these again, my blood sugars became much more stable and have stayed that way. However, this trial and error was also done under the supervision of my physician which is always advisable.

this was the 1st ive tried using to control my diagnosed diabetics, i can say for the record it DOES help with that "sugar crave" after eating. please restock. im ready to stock up

I saw no difference
I was recommended this supplement to decrease my sugar appetite and I took is as the bottle states and actually craved sugar more and had severe sweats during that time

Be careful if you’re anxiety prone!!!
This is no knock on the company itself rather the berberine specifically. After close to 3 weeks of taking berberine for insulin resistance I noticed major anxiety issues creeping in, both physical and mental, getting worse every time I took it. It got so bad my throat started tightening up, I had food revulsion issues, nausea, anxiety attacks, intestinal distress, severe lack of appetite, etc. it wasn’t until I dug online for some info and found that berberine increases neurotransmitter activity including adrenaline. Being prone to anxiety and the issues it caused, sadly I had to stop using it.It did help with insulin resistance with exercise and a VERY low carb diet (blah!) I was finally able to lose 5lbs after 3 weeks but the anxiety side effects were getting worse every time I took it and wasn’t worth it.I think it’s important to point this out for those who are either on SSRIs and or very sensitive to stress hormones. Be aware of this potential issue. I just switched to gymnema Sylvestre instead, as it’s not suppose to increase neurotransmitter activity, while still assisting with insulin resistance and cut carb cravings.Insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome that is drug induced is extremely difficult to overcome so I was really disappointed when berberine started creating more problems than it was helping. I didn’t want to take yet another RX for it so back to the drawing board!
