Just works, recommended.
Definitely 5 stars. It just works. Configuration is so easy. Everything straightforward and if you set something it works like expected. The manual is great and describes every option in detail. Debugging and logging is great. The whole device breathes Linux (in fact the Linux OS runs FreePBX). And that means that you set option to make something work. It is not that you set something and then you have to disable a load of protections throughout the entire device. The VPN connection is a life saver. I have connected the installed PBX-es to my VPN server and I can access all the PBX-es at the customer premises from my desktop. The last installation I did had huge problems with interaction with the Telco, both on PSTN and SIP. The problem was with the Telco, not with the PBX. Thanks to the OpenVPN feature I could install a SIP phone in my office, connect it to the customer's PBX and do all the testing and debugging from my office without having to go over to the customer a single time.

Pricey but worth it
I got this device for working at home. I plugged it in, updated the firmware and looked online for setting it up. The hardest part was putting in the VoIP provider I formation which is different depending on who you go with but I went with a specific company found on Reddit and the setup was good. Used a grandstream phone with this and it sent the data and uploaded to the phone without issue. Overall: price is high, Small learning curve that takes some time to setup but once setup it's easy and perfect for what I use it for.

Brings SIP to the masses
The UMS6202 is priced where you can buy one for your home, but it has enough capabilities and power for a small to medium sized business. I bought this one for a small application, less than 10 phones, and it all came together with no drama Set up the UCM server, and the phones plug in and work out of the box. Record your own greetings for callers, get separate voice mail for everyone, even forward voice mails to your cellphone or email. You can back up the system database to a flash card for safety and security Grandstream has videos on their web site where every feature and the setup for it is explained in a way that even non-technical people can follow along and do it. After this experience I'm getting a UCM6204 for my new office location, 50 people, and a piece of cake for a Grandstream UCS system. It supports up 30 SIP trunks, 500 users and 30 concurrent calls, so we'll never outgrow it.

Good product for the price.
Firmware and UI have a few minor quirks, but overall a reliable product that works as advertised.

Excellent PBX for small business
It’s a great device for small business but requires technical knowledge on how or support to implement. The best alternate to the subscription based expensive cloud offerings.

Inadequate funtionality
Ended up with UCS6302 for almost same price and got video conferencing and recording with better performance.

Could not ask for more at this price
I found the device very easy to configure and use. Yes you will need to understand some of terminology (e.g. trunks, routes) but it all makes sense once you do. The web-based configuration is very intuitive. Status lights and LCD display give you information even if you're not looking at the web based UI. We've attached analog phone lines, soft phones, and various VOIP clients and have tested the product pretty heavily and have been very happy with the results. The price is incredible for the functionality.

Does a lot for the price

I have been using this pbx for a couple of months now and the overall experience has been great. It provides the PBX features that many "bigger" and more expensive pbx have and it does so in a very easy way. No hard programming and complicated configurations. It just works. I would recommend this product.

Took quite a while to get this set up and working but when I figured out how to configure it, I was surprised how well it works and how versatile it is. There is a newer version now and I will likely upgrade when I have time. Love technology when it works!!
