Took 2 tries but I nailed it.
Definitely need to watch a technique video on how to do it well. Use a room like a small bathroom (no carpet or rugs), close the door, make sure your climate control is off so no air flowing. Basically never peel the backfilm without it already being within a few millimeters touching the screen. Here's a lamp reflecting dead on at it.I did it because the ceiling lights at work where I tend to use it on break make the thing unplayable. Now its usable. Just foggy. And it sort of applies a film grain effect all the time, except of course the film grain is never moving. That's the trade off.
