Truly, one of the best pairs of headphones I own.
Just buy them. They are top notch build. They sound amazing. They come with awesome accessories—it’s a $150 case alone and the cables are worth another $100. And, they’re made in the USA! I own $1,000+ headphones and these are my go-to set. Audeze has actually delivered a warm planar here—almost impossible to do. Only caveat, you will need a good amplifier to get the most out of these. But this is true of most planar headphones.

Fantastic
I bought this about 6 months ago. I have all high end Hifiman and others in my arsenal. I also have all high and dac/amps. Audeze always sounded very good with a few of the most powerful dac/amps I have. But then I bought the new XDUOO XD05T last month. This is a hybrid design incorporating vacuum tubes with the latest technology. It took my Audeze to the wow level. Fantastic now!

cant really say i disliked anything i just bekeive this company has bee severely overhypred due ti them being a rekatively new player in well over saturated game thet are nice well built good sound qality but these are not the night and day knock you on your ass OMFG!!!! IV NEVER HEARD CLARITY LIKE THIS BEFORE AS I WAS LED TO BELEIVE I WOULD PUT THEM WELL ABOVE7605'S IN SOUND QYALITY AS WELL AS AT M50'SAND MILES ABOVE BOYTH IN BUILD QUALITY COMFORT, STYLE AND PRESENTATION THE CASE AND AND ACCESORIES ALONE are worth the price they are basically giving the headphones away free

Built like a tank
These headphones simply sound great and are super comfortable. I originally had a different headphone, the Edition XS, but they felt so cheap and the left connector caused crackling sounds so bad that I ended up returning them and saving up for the Audeze pair. Hifiman's QC is absolutely terrible, and I went with Audeze because I want a product that I know will last.

EQ'd they are my end game for bass
I was on the hunt for a bass-oriented pair of headphones. I tried all the Fostex headphones, E-MU, etc. and I found that while they do have good bass, the mids and highs were severely lacking and sounded super bright. Mind you, I am no audiophile. I just wanted something that sounds good and does not lack on the low end. My research lead me to the Audeze LCD-2C's. Many people will tell you that these headphones EQ'd are amazing, and I have to 100% agree. When I first tried these out without EQ, I was unimpressed. I found them to be boring and neutral sounding, but not as good as my cheaper HD 6xx's. But once I cranked up the low end on my equalizer, I fell in love. I highly recommend if that is what you are looking for. There are free equalizer software available (the best being equalizer APO) that I recommend installing to get the most out of these headphones.

Best headphones I've ever owned
I currently own about 12 pairs of headphones, and these are by far my favorite. The clarity, the punch in the bass (I swapped dekoni elite fenestrated pads on here for even more soundstage and bass boost), and just overall quality in sound make them king for me.

First off, this headphone just sounds fantastic. The sound is so warm, not so much that you lose a ton of detail but enough that the sound envelops you. The bass is punchy, the mids are so present, and it provides some of the most captivating male and female voice reproductions I've ever heard. Don't get me started on how instrumental and orchestra music sounds on these. The separation, the soundstage, is literally sublime. I usually benchmark my new cans on the soundtrack of "How To Train Your Dragon". Many of my headphones just cannot resolve some of the more busy parts of the orchestra but these make light work. It's been a while since I've felt genuinely touched by music. As in, feeling my heart strings being tugged at. But listening to, "Romantic flight" by Josh Powell nearly sent me over the edge. The LCD-2c's brought me right into the thick of it and made me feel a level of nostalgia and wonder that I haven't felt in a good while. Bravo Audeze. At this price point, even with all the competition, these cans still feel like lightning in a bottle. I just wish these headphones weren't so clampy, but to me, is a worthy sacrifice.
