I've always been a fan of the Stanton carts and having seen this, read the reviews and after not being impressed by AT carts I gave this a go.The sound is excellent. Imperfections on old 45s are greatly reduced and the true sound shines through. Sound is well balanced with bass, mids and treble all where they should be and the output is higher than my previous AT cart. Simple to fit. The tracking weight says 3-6. I went for 3 and the sound is spot on. Definitely a good investment.

An excellent stylus for dance music
Stylus is very good but not so good when it comes to guitar bands like The Jesus & Mary Chain, for example. Excellent for hard house , hip hop and beats.

Amazing cartridge.
Bought these as I loved the old stanton carts. I'm not sure if these are made by stanton. All I can say is that I'm really impressed with the quality and sound. I use these mainly for DVS use. The signal is fantastic and up there with some of the best carts I've used. Tracking is great and they stick to the groove really well. Move over Ortofon 😀

Good Cartridges
Yeah pretty happy...First new set in 25 years the last pair stood up to a bit of a hammering...with the limited options these days with products like this these are pcb cartridges and the sound quality is very good...there's very little difference between these and track masters.I'm very happy

Muy decentes
Los más viejos del lugar recordarán lo buenas que han sido las Stanton antiguas, lo durables y de buena calidad, pero lamentablemente, Stanton dejó de hacer agujas para los modelos AL6xx y AL8xx por lo que ya no tenemos otra opción que comprar estos modelos o optar por Ortofon.Esta cápsula es de buena calidad, me la esperaba en metal, pero es plástico, aun que de buena calidad, la aguja es muy resistente y saca mucha potencia, quizás excesiva ya que en muchos vinilos los agudos se perciben demasiado y con lo más que grababan algunos LP, estas cápsulas sacarán todas esas imperfecciones. Por otro lado, si el LP o vinilo está muy bien grabado y en optimas condiciones, sacarás un sonido excelente sin apenas tener que amplificar la señal.Este tipo de agujas son muy duras y resistentes, no abuséis del peso, ya que desgastará el vinilo, si tienes un vinilo con un surco poco marcado, tendrás que aplicar un poco más de peso para evitar saltos, pero si no es necesario, evitar hacerlo.La opción B, las Ortofone, son excesivamente caras, es decir, si quieres un modelo similar, serían las Night Club y sus agujas son algo más endebles y cuestan casi tres veces más, los modelos que de gama baja o media, suenan bien pero tienen unas agujas muy endebles y no son de diamante.Este modelo es muy recomendable para TIME-CODE dada su amplificación y dureza.
