Q: Do you know the difference between the adventure hat and the ultra adventure hat other than the sunglass holder?

Hi Neil! The Ultra is essentially an updated version of our original Adventure Hat. It is made of a polyester dobby material which is very soft and breathable, and it has a folding brim. The brim and the neck cape are a little shorter on the Ultra as well.

Q: Product is listed as a Women's hat, but is sizing really unisex?

This hat really is a unisex hat. Sizing as given on Sunday Afternoons' website is as follows: Medium fits heads 21 3/4 inches to 23 inches; Large fits heads 22 3/4 inches to 24 1/4 inches. (Measure around the crown of your head, just above your ears and eyebrows, to get your head circumference...) Alternatively, if you know your hat size (such as 7 1/4), then multiply that figure by 3.14 to get your circumference in inches. So if you're a 7 1/4 hat size, your circumference would be 22.75 inches.

Q: can you fold the flap up

Hello! The Ultra-Adventure does not have the Velcro on the back to hold the flap up like some of our other hats do (like the Adventure and the Derma Safe).

Q: If I wear a size 7 7/8 new era fitted, will the large fit me?

Yes, my husband wears that size hat too and it’s even bigger than he needs. He adjusted it down to his hat size.
