Steinheil GLAS.t SLIM is made to protect the LCD from damage and scratches with specially processed transparent glass that has been reinforced to increase shock absorbency. The glass has been designed to be 35% slimmer and still maintain its high level of surface hardness of 8~9H. The surface of the GLAS.t SLIM has a hardness of 8-9H, three times stronger than regular PET film. The GLAS.t SLIM is highly scratch resistance even against sharp objects such as knives and keys. When installed, there are no gaps between the LCD and the GLAS.t SLIM due to the strong silicone adhesive that makes installation easy and attaches the film firmly. This ensures no interference to the touch screen's sensitivity. The GLAS.t SLIM has an oleo phobic coating that prevents fingerprints and other contaminants and makes the film easy to clean. If broken, the GLAS.t SLIM breaks into small pieces that are not sharp and contained in the film, making it safer than other glass products.

A very costly "charge"
Man, this thing is hard to install! I think I would have liked it if it didn't turn into a swiffer and start sucking all the dust from the air. I cleaned my screen like I have with other phones and other screen protectors and used the alcohol prep and micro cloth which worked great. My problem came up as soon as I removed the protective coverings which created a static charge on the glass. In the time it took to place it on the glass, the top part already had particles on it. I didn't have it placed perfect so I lifted it to replace it. This created more static and I watched a fiber move across the screen and get sucked over the edge and go under the glass which I picked off with my fingernail, but it seemed to suck more particles under. First, I noticed the first two flecks under the glass because I could not get two big bubbles out, and noticed this was caused by tiny flecks of dust. Any particle no matter how small creates a huge bubble! I raised the glass to remove the flecks, but realized the adhesive wasn't going to give them up. When I put the glass down again is when I saw that the static built up between the phone glass and the protective glass was sucking dust and crap out of the air in between. It looked like a floor of a barber shop! Out of desperation, I thought maybe I could save it by washing it with water and even tried soap. When I looked and saw my fingerprints on the adhesive along with the shag carpet clinging to the adhesive is when I started feeling sick like I'd had lost $27 bucks at a gas station. I guess I should have been in a clean room because what I thought was a clean environment turned this into a nightmare by pulling floating particles out of the air and in between the glass. It was going on really nice also, even with the dust that clung to the top. Problem was when you pull the thing to re-position, it charges it with static electricity which makes it a magnet for small dust and fibers in the air even though you make sure you've scrubbed down like you're going into surgery. Too expensive for a screw-up that's not hard to screw-up. It comes with a protective backing, but it looked like a condom on the back and was a dust magnet also. Really nice glass, I just wish I could have got it on without looking like a cat laid on the back of it.

Amazing
This screen protector for the Galaxy S4 is amazing. Easiest install I have ever had, although I did prep more than usual so avoid dust. I used the vacuum in the bathroom with the duster end to do all of the walls, toilet, etc (took like 5 minutes). I then ran the shower for 5 minutes to drop all the dust. I placed a piece of clean computer paper on the top of the toiler (sat on it facing backwards), and laid the phone down. Cleaned the screen, used scotch tape to remove a couple pieces of dust and then put the screen protector on.It has zero dust under it, and is absolutely amazing.First off it feel like REAL glass, because it is. I never really had a problem with the feel of other screen protectors, but this is a step up. The big bonus is the oleophobic layer. It makes finger prints come off so much easier than with plastic screen protectors. It is thin and even though it came with home button covers I do not feel the need for one. I tried buying from the "other" glass brand, however their customer service was rude and unhelpful.I wish I could claim that this screen protector was awful, so I could get a free one for my fiance, but I cant. Best screen protector I have ever used.UPDATES:Later in the day I noticed a piece of dust under it. I have, like a lot of people, OCD style issues with this, so I took it off to redo it. Ended up with lots of dust, redid it again, and had lots of dust and a fingerprint. Figured it was ruined anyway so I used the alcohol wipe on the screen protector then used a lint roller on it. Put it back on, and I was amazed that is not only was perfectly clear the adhesive still worked and it stuck. I do not recommend this method, but if you have to it worked for me.

Works great with Otterbox Defender and Spigen Neo Hybrid
I purchased this screen protector because I was tired of the prefab one on the Otterbox Defender. I had little trouble installing it. I used the alcohol swab that comes with it to clean the screen and quickly installed it according to the instructions in my bathroom. I had no trouble with lint or bubbles. I then removed the Otterbox Defender built in screen protector and re-installed that case. It was a bit snug but it worked fine. I had this combination for about a month until I got fed up with that bulky case and decided to go to the Neo Hybrid. The screen protector works perfectly with that case. The screen protector leaves a few mm's open at the edge of the phone. When you slip the phone into the Neo Hybrid case, the lip of the case comes almost right up to the edges of the screen protector. The problem here is that this leaves room for a little dirt to get into the cracks which would require cleaning and possible removing the case to do so. I haven't had any issues yet with this but I keep my phone pretty clean. The lip of the case also leaves enough clearance so the screen protector doesn't rest on the flat surface you are setting your phone face down on.The screen protector also does a great job of keeping off finger prints and other smudges. Mine is always spotless and I never clean it. It also feels incredibly smooth and premium quality when swiping and typing. It is perfectly clear and doesn't affect the screen, smart screen, or air view responsiveness in any way. I've had it now for about a month in a half and it looks like new. No air bubbles on the edges or any chips.Highly recommend.
