Inexpensive way to test questionable performance on a SoClean 2
The product worked perfectly. I tested the output at the end of the SoClean 2. Not much or no ozone. I tried the same test at the SoClean output port. When I turned the SoClean on before attaching the tester I noted water spiting out the output fitting. I let it run until the spitting stopped and hooked up the tester. Ozone to spare! I cleaned out the output hose. SoClean works good as new.

Did NOT work.
Absolutely no flow through this thing, so of course it will make your generator test bad. It was a total waste of money for me.

Good ozone output
I replaced my OEM ozone unit with this one and my water is much clearer.

No flow through during test
While performing the test as instructed I noticed no bubbles when the tube was set up to test. The reason was that absolutely no flow through the media was occurring as if the tube was just plugged and not allowing the ozone to permeate the full length of the tube.I bought 2 of these test kits and will want to see if this one was just defective the next time I test.

The test works!
This enabled me to diagnose an ailing ozone generator! Since the old generator only turned a short portion of the blue media white, I capped it off and reused the test on the new generator. Sure enough, the rest of the blue powder in the glass testing tube turned white quickly. This verified that the new ozone generator was working.The first test I was sent was shattered in transit, but Amazon sent a replacement out in record time!
