These are good. To hide a key from car or truck.

Good product
Good size for larger/multiple keys. The magnet is strong, holds very securely. Perfect for its intended purpose.

Adequate and good value for the money
These are a good value for the money. Please keep in mind that these are not “hide a keys.“ The plastic is thinner, they are smaller and the magnets don’t hold quite as strongly. They do a seem adequate though. It’s good to have three of them. I’ll have more keys available than I would if I bought just one “hide a key” for about the same price, which is a safe thing.

Lid won’t slide open. Had to pry it open!
I did not like this box. One didn’t hold on the metal frame & fell off so lost set of keys. I had a second one & the lid is stuck & wont slide open. I had to use flathead screw driver to pry lid open. Would not recommend this product.

Magnet detached from case and strength deteriorates in Arizona heat
After a few years when I went to check on it, the magnet detached from case and the magnet no longer retained its strength. I suppose that's to be expected from extensive time in 100+ degree heat. It was attached to a stationary place and so it was only a matter of replacing it with the 2nd hide-a-key included in the purchase. That is, after finding where I stored it years ago. While it suits my need I'd avoid using this if the plan is to attach it to anything mobile.

Cost wise cant be beat, construction very good. Pleasantly surprised had expected 3 but got 6, great thanks giving gifts. Had a similar magnetic box from years ago, recently needed to retrieve it as I locked keys in car. Anyway the box was attached to underside of flooring, looks like rust formed between the box over the years and where attached rust finally released. Causing loss of key, had to call CAA to open door. Lesson learned, find a safer place!
