Philips Hue Ambiance Filament Dimmable Smart Light Bulb [E27 Edison Screw] with Bluetooth. Works with Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Homekit, White

I have two of these bulbs in floor standing reading lights and the filaments look great and produce a soft light that is fully dimmable and easy to control through the Hue lighting system. Bulbs were really easy to set up, and like all the Hue bulbs in my house, I can save energy by managing brightness and making sure bulbs are not left on when no one is in a room.

I have always loved the Hue bulbs, but the filament bulbs look so much more stylish! All of my Hue bulbs have lasted for many years now. They are so easy to set up in the app as long as you have your Hue Bridge for them to connect to. You have the same flexibility with the brightness to set the scenes that most suit the occasion. I will definitely be changing all of my lamps to the filament bulbs.

I was very hesitant to buy this product for two reasons. 1 the low energy rating and 2 the fact that people were saying it wasn’t bright enough and was too orange in colour. There are also some Q&A’s saying you can’t adjust the colour temperature. Well firstly the rating is due to changes in the ranges introduced in 2021. This light still uses exactly the same amount of energy it did when it was rated A+ but the barometers have changed. So that’s that. Secondly, you absolutely can adjust the colour temperature and the range goes from a very atmospheric candle-like warmth all the way to a cool, daylight-esque tone. Finally, the brightness. This is subjective I suppose and I wouldn’t use just one of these lights to light a single room but as part of a 6-bulb chandelier it works very well. The cooler the colour temperature the brighter the light seems - even though it’s obviously still 550 lumens. It’s also beautiful. The Phillips hue twirl on filament bulbs is gorgeous and I’m super excited to buy more. All in all - VERY happy with this purchase!

If you have a Philips hub then these are great. Perfect for smart house and when you are away from house to switch in at random times

High quality Philips as always, but finding they are getting a little pricey

Put this in a pendant lamp in the living room and it looks fantastic. The filament style gives a really warm vintage look but with all the smart features you'd expect from Hue. Being able to dim it right down in the evening through the app or with Alexa is perfect. It paired to my Hue Bridge instantly and the Bluetooth backup means guests can control it from their phones without needing the bridge. The ambiance white range goes from a warm candlelight glow to a cooler daylight setting which is really versatile. Expensive for a single bulb but the quality is there.

Love these bulbs, I have several being used in different types of light fittings. Look good and good light output.

These are gorgeous and the range of colour is fantastic. I was struggling with our dimmer switch so I binned it off for a normal switch and bought these, so much better, no flicker at all, always work with Alexa and timers/schedules

Premetto che all'inizio ho avuto problemi con questa lampadina, perché non salvava l'impostazione ogni volta che la spegnevo, e quando la riaccendevo ripartiva sempre al massimo dell'intensità. Dopo qualche tempo hanno aggiornato il firmware (che si fa in automatico con l'app), risolvendo questo unico problema. Comunque la lampadina un look retrò affascinante con tutta la comodità della tecnologia smart. Il filamento interno crea un effetto stupendo, molto più caldo e d'atmosfera rispetto alle solite lampadine smart opache. Fa davvero una gran figura. Ma non è solo bella: è incredibilmente funzionale. La cosa che adoro di più è poter cambiare la tonalità del bianco: la imposto su una luce calda e molto fioca la tarda sera per rilassarmi o se mi devo alzare di notte, e su una luce leggermente più forte la sera, salvando le mie 2-3 impostazioni fra i preferiti. Questo fa una differenza enorme! Ovviamente è dimmerabile con precisione tramite l'app Hue. L'ho collegata in un attimo via Bluetooth, facilissimo e senza bisogno del Bridge Hue. Costa più di una lampadina tradizionale? Ovviamente sì. Ma la qualità della luce Philips Hue, e un'estetica così particolare, per me, valgono assolutamente la spesa. Ha trasformato l'atmosfera della stanza.
