Difficult to open
Replacing batteries in this remote is a challenge. We had to use a knife (suggested by U Tube).it works great once the 2 hour frustrating ordeal was accomplished!Seriously Samsung?? You can do much better.

Defective
Doesn’t work! After a week of use (and no dropping or damage to the remote) this junk stopped working. The remote will mute and turn volume down, but fails to turn volume up. Not at all useful - returning for a refund.

Its basic
The remote works and connects to the TV with no problem. The issue is that every time I turn on the TV a message comes up saying the remote cannot connect and to press two of the buttons simultaneously to reconnect, but that never works. I end up having to wait about 10-20 seconds for the remote to reconnect to the TV. It has honestly become a nuisance, but I understand that for the price there has to be something wrong with the remote. Otherwise works fine.
