Perfect and tight fit
Exactly what I needed. Perfect fit for my Dewalt DWE6423 orbital. If you have the Ridgid auto detailing hose kit, it will screw right on as well, no other adapters needed. Just remember it's reverse threads so lefty tighty righty loosey. Once it's locked in place, it also free spins to avoid binding of the hose.

Works with a Ridgid shop vac with Car Cleaning Kit
This probably works best in the DeWalt ecosystem, but if you happen to have a Ridgid shop vac with a Car Cleaning Kit (or need one), you can unscrew the orange hose from its regular nozzle and then screw it into this adapter in a _counterclockwise_ (backwards) motion.

Great fit for Dewalt vac!
This adapter fits perfectly on the hose of my Dewalt cordless wet/dry vac (DCV580H). I unscrewed the factory vacuum tip and screwed this one on! Connects securely to my circular saw DCS565 and orbital palm sander DCW210.Adapter is well made and feels durable.

dZERO STARS for FALSE CLAIMS - This ADAPTER isnt compatible with the DeWalt products it claims to be for. It Didnt even begin to fit my new DeWalt PORTABLE WET/DRY VACUUM DXV09P-QTNor did it fasten securely to my new DeWalt Orbital sanders dust exhaust port. Useless JUNK

Fits my sander/miter saw
I use this adapter with my DWS779 and DCV581H 2 gallon vacuum. The thicker part of the adapter goes into the dust hole of the saw and turning the ring on the adapter keeps it attached. The vacuum hose goes into the thinner part and sits there almost perfect, but I had to use electrician tape to make it sealed. Also you can remove it from the saw and attach it to a dewalt sander and the ring will keep it attached too.
