This take several types of mounted dash cams. It works well for me.

I have a Vicovation OP//A dash cam that is a couple of years old. The suction holder stopped working so I ordered this mount to replace it. None of the attachments fit my camera, but a little bit of sanding on my camera ball mount and it worked perfectly. I tried mounting the new suction cup, but it wouldn't hold (it's winter and the windshield was very cold). Next time I need to go out, I turned the windshield defroster on full and placed the suction cup over one of the vents to warm it up a bit. After about 20 minutes, I tried the suction cup and it worked great. It's a week later and the mount still holds my dash cam firmly in place. I'm satisfied with the product and the vendor's service.

This mount is not made for my Pelsi dash cam (that has a defective factory mount) but was easy to modify for a secure removable mount also the suction cup is very secure and doesn’t seem to be affected by the hot sun like outdoor Velcro and other adhesives

1st review 11-22-2023: lost complete mount when moving from one car to another (don't give it to your brother and expect him not to lose it. if you want to keep it, do it yourself). I read other reviews that stated it worked on insignia dash cams but was a little loose so i took a chance on it. very happy i did. the one adapter that fits has very little play/loose. it will get it mounted where i want and back in service. as for longevity we will see/hope for the best. if the little play is a problem when i review a playback, I will put a small strip of thick black tape to keep it more secure, but i don't for see a problem. the wiggle/play is so minute. the little play was no problem but weighed on my mind. i took a small piece of black duct tape and taped it to the top of the camera, then slid in the mount that worked and it was stiff/held in place with absolutely no play at all. the suction cup popped off a few times when new, so i cleaned the suction part with alcohol. it still popped off a few times so i licked it and stuck it on. when it falls off after a longer period of time, i lick it with a little more saliva. with that method i always seem to hit enough saliva to keep it in place. it is still in place since november and it is now may.. UPDATE 05-10-2024: my sister just gave me a second insignia full hd dual camera dash cam NS-DCDCHH2. it has a very sticky suction cup that i have read will disintegrate and leave a horrible sticky mess on your windshield. I am buying a second sportway s-40 dash cam suction mount to replace the original mount that is sticky. this one will fit perfectly as i will put a piece of thick tape on top of the camera, then slide the mount in/on. will try cleaning window and suction cup upon installation and if necessary i will start my licking regime until it stays. sounds a bit gross but since a kid, i have found increasing saliva a little at a time till you get the right amount to stick works better than losing your temper and ultimately your sanity. between licks, clean again with alcohol then give it a little more than before. hope this helps. i like comfort and convenience. i can fix almost anything. please try it.

Didnt fit mine, but that was my fault. Quality seems ok, not much value for your money as these are made from cheap plastics but they do function as intended.

I recently purchased a dash cam with rear facing camera for our son's new wheelchair accessible van. The issue I had is that small rear camera could adjust for vertical movement but the rear windows have a curve that meant my preferred position aimed the view off to one side, rather than directly behind. This S40 mount looked like a decent small mount with a potential mounting solution and worked out perfectly with a small modification. By fitting the ball mount socket, I then cut a couple of the small legs from one side of the 45mm x 29mm rectangle mounting plate. This allowed me to stick the camera directly to the plate and still be positioned close to the glass while being able to adjust the horizontal 'aim'. It also gives me the ability to remove it completely with issue, if I ammopening get door in heavy rain or there is a service issue. For less than £10 I am more than happy with the build quality and flexibility of this mount.

Dashcam-Saugnapfhalterung für meine Apeman C450. Viele Adapter dabei, gut; brauche ich gar nicht. Meine Apeman soll in die Heckscheibe und die original Halterung passt nicht, weil der Abstand zwischen Sockel und Scheibe zu gering (nur für schräge Frontscheibe geeignet). Verlängerung Fehlanzeige. Also Adapter Sportway S40 bestellt. Und passt! Mann kann sogar den original Apeman Adapter mit dem Sportway S40 kombinieren. Weil die Aussparung im S40 zu klein ist (es fehlt ca.0,5mm), muß man mit grobem Schmiergel ein bißchen vom Apeman Adatper abnehmen. Dann passt die Schraube ohne Gewalt. Super, bin sehr zufrieden.
