This is my fifth advanced puzzle. My third Wood Trick. I thought it a bit pricey however this is a stellar example of getting what you pay for. The other Wood Trick puzzles I have built in my opinion are really very good quality but this particular puzzle really takes it up a notch. It, like a few other projects really require paying extra attention to the placement of several individual pieces. It is very similar to the Ugears Hexipod Explorer in regards to the placement issue. Positioning just one piece incorrectly and your dead in the water. That’s the fun of it! This one differs from most of the others in the amount of detail. The designers out did themselves on this one. This is in fact my first rubber band driven puzzle. The others are motor and spring driven. It works just fine. It doesn’t go very far but it goes. The ONLY thing I would designed into this is a railroad section for display. Given the level of detail and flat out quality the last thing I want is something that doesn’t fit in with this puzzle. I could not hit the level of precision to do it justice. That said… one of my favorite builds to date. Well worth the price and when all is said and done, it just looks really cool!

Great gift for my retired father to keep him busy. Be aware, only instructions are via an online PDF, so need a computer or be able to print out 50+ pages.

I have done a lot of these wood kits from most of the other companies, and sometimes the sawdust bothers me a little bit but not like this one. It is really irritating my throat and is hurting my lungs. I would do this outside if it was not winter time. I started wearing a n95 mask and set up a heap filter and that still has not fixed the issue.I may need to get a proper woodworking respirator to finish this.Otherwise it’s a nice kit with great directions. I just wish it had higher quality wood that didn’t chip as easily.

This was an exceptionally well designed project. It went together very nicely and works perfectly. I really enjoy Wood Trick projects, good quality and worth the money! Highly recommend any of Wood Tricks products! I have completed 6 of their projects so far.

A great puzzle, lots of detail and fun to build. It looks great when it’s done. It’s not for young kids, it requires care with delicate parts, patience and attention to detail.
