Great paper - best value
Kokuyo is a top Japanese stationary company. These are 30 sheet (60 page) notebooks with 6mm line spacing. For fountain pens there is a fair amount of ghosting with European fine nibs (with "wet" ink) but is really doesn't affect use. Paper is printed with light lines which don't interfere with graphing, drawing or reading. Pages are laid out so that you can create custom grids. 10 X 7 book opens flat so entire page can be used easily.Packed as 10 blue covered notebooks at a substantial discount. There are sets of five with multiple cover colors in the set. Very attractive but a higher price.

Good Value
Good value pack. Ten 30-sheet notebooks of decent paper. Certainly better and cheaper than what I can find at my local store. Others have said it before but it works well with fountain pens. Since I have so many of them I don't feel bad about "wasting" them.

Small, Compact, Clean Notebooks makes for easy note taking!
These notebooks are great! I discovered them during my undergraduate education and they quickly became my go to notebooks for class. These notebooks are small, which make transporting them a breeze, as well as to organize notes in a small notebook rather than having to hope you remembered to grab the correct spiral bound notebooks. The paper is of great quality, and not too glossy. As a lefty, I appreciate paper that doesn't contribute to smearing while writing. There is also not extensive bleed through with ballpoints or the roller balls that I tried. This helps to keep note keeping neat, and pairs nicely with the lines and dots that are in the notebook. Each line has dots across it as well, so if you enjoy consistent indenting, diagramming, or other geometric options for your note taking, this is definitely worth a shot. The large pack of notebooks is also handy and based upon the quantity of notes you take, 1 notebook can easily accommodate a course, or even an exam at a time. Kokuyo also makes covers that these notebooks can fit into, which give it a more professional look as well as protects the notebook as it bounces about your bag. These notebooks are well worth the price paid, and I'm very glad to see they are available on Amazon, and via Prime!

Just buy it! Small, Compact, and High Quality!
These are great for semesters! The fact that they are small, compact, and clean looking! The lines are almost college-ruled but a bit smaller and I love it! My writing is pretty small and I've always hated how much of the paper was wasted from when I had to start a new chapter or new subject. With other notebooks, much of the paper is wasted by the end of the semester but, these are just perfect. I also like the area reserved for the date (I always mean to but forget to write it down) and the title area for the subject or title! I've compared my notes from a notebook transferred to this notebook and it looks neater, spacious, and even the ink of the same pen I used is less feathery. The ink won't go to the back unless you dropped actual ink like I did and midliner highlighters don't bleed through too much besides the area where you stop it. The book's spine helps when shelved because you can write the subject. The front is also decoratable with ink but difficult to sketch on since it feels like it has a light plastic quality to it.Since they are so small and compact they fit easily in to my bag and don't weigh me down like any other notebooks. They're also perfect for lecture hall 'desks' since they fit perfectly on the small tablet. They came shrink wrapped and luckily they weren't damaged!

Wish I knew about these in college!
These notebooks are just amazing! The paper used in these notebooks are the smoothest I've ever written on, which is good and bad. Good because writing on it with almost any pen or pencil makes the writing experience so much more enjoyable because of its smoothness and how it causes your writing utensil to just glide over it. These are also fountain pen friendly! I said that the smoothness was also a downside though because it's just too smooth! If you have a fountain pen from Pilot which are known to have some of the smoothest nibs out there then it just slides all over the paper and I don't have much control in my strokes.

Good notebooks for fountain pens
I came across these notebooks while searching for fountain pen-friendly paper online. Of all the options I explored, these Campus Kokuyo notebooks were the most affordable at $19.30 or $1.93/notebook (the price at the time of my purchase). I received all 10 notebooks on time, shrink-wrapped, and undamaged. The paper is 6mm lined (equivalent to US narrow, and not much noticeably narrower than College-ruled) and quite smooth. It is worth noting that these notebooks are Campus Kokuyo's Sarasara variety, which lacks the toothy quality of the Shikkari. I am personally satisfied with the Sarasara; the paper is thin but suffers minimal ghosting from my Pilot Metropolitan fountain pen (F) inked with Diamine Blue Velvet. I have had no issues with smearing either, though I have not yet tried my wider nibs or wetter inks. However, I do wish the covers were made out of more durable material. They're constructed of thicker, glossy paper which is easily bent if thrown in a backpack. Slipping the notebooks into a folder (I believe Campus also sells protective covers and binders) solves the issue, though it would be nice if this step weren't necessary. I also had trouble labeling the covers; both my Pilot G-2 and fountain pens smear on the material. I've found that Staedtler fineliners work the best. Nonetheless, I feel that the quality of the paper (and affordability) more than make up for these small annoyances.
