AC251420 2-Tip Exhaust for VW Beetle

In stock form they made a anoying frequency on the freeway I wrapped the muffler with exhaust wrap witch helped the pipes being different lengths made it run a bit irregular so I ended up going back to my old system but all in all I would say I could have continued to use them if I had no other option

Works great and fits as it should.

Fit nice sound good volowagon

This exhaust is a great deal but needs a few little tweaks to fit but nothing you can't fix by just spreading the pipes a little by hand. The heat riser tube line right up great and the quality is really good as well. The only fitment issue I had was I have a oil filter adaptor and it just slightly made contact with the number 4 cylinder exhaust tube. I was able to use a ball peen hammer and persuade the tube to fit around the filter. The tips fit nice and center in the exhaust tip holes. This exhaust is definitely on the loud side but sounds great with the large came I have in my motor.

The media could not be loaded. This exhaust sounds and looks awesome! Absolutely great sound. It IS a little on the loud side, but not obnoxiously so. Actually not too loud outside the car, but bugs have very little insulation (mine has none). The fitment of the right heat riser was a little off, but it could be lined up by hand once the other side was on. No leaks. My beetle is still slow, but it sounds fast!

Shipping was fast and before time arrival which was awesome, however the exhaust heater passages were blocked and I had to finish drilling them out. Also no hardware kit was with exhaust which was so disappointing. I’m glad I’m not a new b.

Exhaust isn’t what is pictured all shiny it’s actually just spray painted with some cheap silver. Only thing that looks polished or good is exhaust tips. Welder must be a beginner as well. Wants $49 shipping charge to return so I’ll keep it but looks are very deceiving
