Interesting stories, but some are too similar
Bought this book for a high school World History class in 9th grade and it had some truly intriguing, while also horrifying stories. It was oftentimes enthralling to read (the most interesting History book I've ever read!) and also incredibly eye-opening. I recommend this to teachers/schools looking for engaging course material. It was worth every penny. However, some of the stories in the beginning of the book seemed to reiterate a point over and over again. They were all interesting, but were they all necessary? Maybe some further organization by the editors could've been used, but overall very good textbook.

A must read for all
Facing history is a must read for all if we are not going to repeat the same miss steps. Perhaps the targets change ,but the hate and destruction are the same It takes an openness and willingness to think if you are to get a handle on what person kind has done it's self in the past and what is needed not to repeat the same today and tomorrow.

Facing History & Ourselves
Very informative book. Did you know that China was the only country that accepted Jews without passports and proper documentation on the run from Nazi Germany? Received quickly and in the condition listed. I would order from them again.

Great resource
This is a great tool for advancing ones knowledge and understanding of how an entire country could be convinced to do something or believe what others are doing is what is necessary.
