Brilliant!
The grip is well made and lightweight. It fits well and is a good cosmetic match. You have access to all the camera’s ports and battery compartment and it works well on a tripod. It has literally transformed my experience with the Zfc and I keep it on the camera all the time now. The Zfc’s buttons are quite crowded and I found my fingers straying onto the front function button. This grip, with its comfortable rubberised hand grip, has fixed that.Niggles: when attached in portrait mode, the rubberised grip means that the camera wobbles. Don’t be fooled by the Arca Swiss compatible claim. Whilst true, the camera will be at 90 degrees to the tripod head.

Super Lightwight and Transforms the Camera
I spent some time choosing between the Z fc and Z50 - this little add-on makes the Z FC the best of both worlds! It absolutely transforms the handling, now I can compose photos easily with one hand, hold it ready to use as I move around, and it helps with stability when panning. When moving from a DSLR I chose the Z fc as it has the fully articulated screen, control dials, compact body, and great looks that make people more at ease around it. However, I missed the grip. The SMALLRIG Z fc grip has made the camera perfect - I actually prefer it to the Fujifilm X100 range now. It’s also super lightweight - when it arrived I thought it was missing from the parcel it was so light, and it adds a tripod mount for vertical shooting. It looks and feels like it’s part of the camera, a really thoughtfully designed and made product.TIP - when you fit this, tighten it, give it a shake, then tighten it again and repeat until you’re happy - when fitted it integrates perfectly with the camera.

Excellent piece of kit!
I'm in two minds about whether the Zfc needs a grip but as I have grips for many of my film based Nikon SLRs there is no reason to believe that it might not help on the Zfc. Apparently, Nikon are not going to offer their own grip to customers in the UK in the near future. I saw this grip along with an alternative for the £35 price that I suspect the Nikon grip will not even come close to if we ever see it here and thought I'd give it a shot. It arrived within 24 hours of ordering. It is a great piece of kit. The Zfc has what seems to be quite a flimsy plastic base (see my review) and this now puts a very substantial metal base on the underside of the camera. It fits perfectly and the whole grip feels to be of very sound build whilst being quite light. I love the fact that it maintains the silver base. It isn't perfectly flush with the base of the camera but this seems to have been by design to "cradle" the camera base. The grip itself has a good "rubbery" tactile feel whilst fitting in with the aesthetics of the camera. After playing around with it on the camera and without it, I have realised that with it on I have much better control of the shutter speed dial as it easy to hold the camera with the grip with my two lower fingers and adjust the dial with thumb and index finger. I hate to say it, but I just can't get this level of control on the shutter speed dial without the grip.I love it that Nikon did not build a grip onto the Zfc and left it as a flat left pane as with the original Nikon FM and FE (I have no idea why people keep attributing the design to the FM2 as it is clearly closer to the original Nikon FE). But this is a really good add-on that you can use or remove as you please. If you have forked out nearly a grand for the wonderful Zfc I can't see why you wouldn't spend £35 for this excellent addition. Put it on when you want the stability and take it off when you want the camera to look really cool :-)! It doesn't get better! Brilliant!!! Well done SmallRig!

Invaluable
This grip completely transforms the handling of the Z fc, and makes it much easier to mount on a tripod (that's Arca swiss comparable). An excellent product and great quality, too. The rubberised grip and black base blend perfectly with my black Z fc.

Perfect fit for Zf-c to improve handling
Lighweight, quality workmanship & fits the Zf-c perfectly. Good value and should last as long as the camera. Doesn’t interfere with access to battery and memory card, and as well as tripod hole in the base adds one to the side so you can mount the camera at 90 degrees if you prefer.

Essential accessory for the ZFc
Makes holding the camera much more comfortable, particularly with longer lenses. A perfect match for the camera and doesn't obstruct access to the card and battery compartment.

Good hand grip
The hand grip is a must for the Nikon ZFC. It fits on to the camera really easily and secures well. This is a product worth adding to the camera to ensure you have a great grip at all times.
