By using all 3 targets on the firing line, this allows the instructor to provide both a shoot or no shoot scenario as well as command training.Because each target has a "no-shoot" possibility for each string, some students will have to shoot at each command while others do not. This helps condition against "bunch shooting" where shooters shoot because everyone else is.
