I've purchased seven sets of these to place around my home and backyard over the past 4 years. Every time I find an area that I would like lit in the darkness, I add another set. After 4 years I finally have one that has died. These lights are awesome! Obviously it would be great if you could extend the time that they stayed illuminated, but typically the 30 seconds is enough. They pick up motion from humans and from my pups when they go out to pee in the back at night. I've also purchased a few sets for my aunt who lives in the Caribbean. They're easy to adjust and you can get specific hooks that allow you to put them on the siding of your home.

One of my favorite solar powered motion detected lights.I really like that I do not need to mess with any wires for installation.Can be used anywhere.I currently have one at my house and cottage.I plan on purchasing another one for installation outside my motor home.Easy to install, activates on motion, provides great lighting.

I have installed it in my front entrance of my house.It was easy to install.As soon as someone approches towards my house, or EVEN if an animal goes by, it lights up immediately, and it is VERY bright!This is my second one that I have bought in 6 months, and I intend to buy a third one next spring to be installed in my backyard..The solar panel works even on cloudy, raining and snowing days as well.In summer season, once a while I may clean the solar panels from their dust and dirt that may have been accumulated on.Very satisfied with my purchase.

Having seen some similar products in the hardware store, these were a bit smaller than I'd visualized. However, once I'd set them up and night arrived, they were also brighter than I'd expected. Even set at about 12' off the ground, the motion sensor was sensitive enough to detect our dog moving past and lit up just fine. The duration of light after detecting movement is about 30 seconds, as it says on its box. One nice feature is the slip-on mounting bracket which allowed for some imaginative applications to enhance my driveway lighting. A feature they do NOT have is the ability to fully rotate the solar panel. They don't get full sun all day, so we'll see if partial shade still allows a complete charge to remain functional at night. Also, they are completely exposed - not sheltered under some roof eave - so that may factor in as well. I'll post an update later, but for now, I'm pleased with this $30 purchase.
