Plane took off and never came back
I received a new plane and a transmitter w fingerprints all over it. I set-up plane, bind, test transmitter and plane. Do a small warm-up throttle on run-way. Now I throttle it and she lifts beautiful. NOW, the plane never responded to transmitter and flew past our flying field and into next farm over in trees lost. Totally FRUSTRATED. I’ve been in rc 40 years and have 14 planes. I want a refund.

Fun responsive flyer.
It was easy to put together, and easy to fly. The plane responded well in the air and landed perfectly.

Once I got to try it out...
I feel bad that I wasn't able to try this out until only recently. While I got some months ago now, I have been left waiting for decent weather so I can get out in a space open enough to enjoy giving it a try. The space issue is one that I had previously submitted a question on just to make sure that I would be working in an area that is large enough to not lead to problems. While I have some room in my backyard, it's more confined than I would recommend for playing with this RC plane in.Once I could get out in a nearby park area and give this thing a go, I found that it was a ton of fun to give a try with. Fairly easy to control and work with, and a good size to be able to see it and fly it around. Seeing it can be a bit of a pain because of the color scheme that is used -- the bright white can be difficult to see against a nice typical sunny day with puffy white clouds, but if you can get the sun to your back you should do OK. You could always break out a can of bright high visibility paint to paint this plane to make it easier to see if you wanted to do that.4 very solid stars from this reviewer. Not perfect, but not bad at all.

Drones are great, but this airplane was a total blast
Drones have all kinds of up-down-sideways kinds of things they can do, but y'know, having a plane that a kid or adult can simply fly, that's worth it! What I wish is that the people who created this plane had made it bright orange or fire engine red - something that shows up against clouds and sky! My next door neighbor rents a room to a newly-divorced dad who has two young boys. I asked him last weekend if I could tag along when he took the boys to the park - and then brought this plane so the boys had something cool to try out. I have no interest in any relationship as I'm old enough to be these boys grandmother, but I do know their dad doesn't have lots of money to spend when he has the boys so when I can give those boys something fun to do while with their dad, it makes their weekends together more enjoyable. Oh and those two boys had MORE fun - even their dad when showing them how to fly and land that plane. It took some pretty jarring landings without a problem, so that's good, too. I just had problems watching it in the sky - I'd lose it against a cloud. Other than that, this plane was a blast!

Excellent
Prior to testing this RC plane my only experience with this kind of thing was with drones, and after just a few minutes it became clear that the two types of vehicles are very, very different. With a well built drone you can leave it hovering on its own even in a stiff breeze, and if it comes to it you can bring it in to land at the touch of a button. With a plane, though, you have to be on the ball from takeoff to landing. Take your eye off this thing for a second and you'll nosedive it into the ground, and I mean that in a good way. This is much more exciting to fly than a drone. It's not all that difficult, though. After a few false starts I got the hang of it, and once I knew what I was doing I had a ball.If I had just one criticism it would be that the white body isn't ideal, especially if like me your eyesight isn't perfect. I'd have preferred a colour that better stands out against the background. All in all, though, this plane is excellent. I'd highly recommend it, especially if you have experience with drones and you're looking for something a little different.

More forgiving 3ch RC
A 3 channel RC plane without first person is inherently challenging due to increased risk of uncoordinated flight/ spins in low speed maneuvering, which is basically the only kind of flying you’ll be doingThis plane offsets some of the disadvantages with size. The large wingspan reduces the minimum speeds without significantly increasing weight compared to smaller aircraft. It also makes it easier to identify the aircraft orientation from the ground. I was able to do a few relatively graceful landings thanks in part to the large sizeThe battery compartment is an oversized cockpit, I like that there is a velcro mount for precise weight/balance and to prevent load shift.I was unable to steer the plane on the ground with low speed taxiing, with the landing gear and rear skid installed. You pretty much have to hand align the plane in the general direction of the runway before launching. It is stable enough for hand launches, which I’ve done many times as well.I like the pusher prop design, my front propeller RC plane’s breakaway prop breaks away often, while this propeller stayed in place through numerous crashes so even though spares are included, I’ve never needed to replace the propellerThere were crashes where I dragged the wingtips on the ground. The leading edge got messed up adding a significant amount of asymmetric force. I wish there were more protection from the wingtipsThe remote control worked with my 1.5V rechargeable lithium AA batteries. I was able to control the plane from 1000ft away, which is not the absolute limit of the plane’s RC rangeWhile I would recommend novices like myself get a 4ch RC plane (aileron, rudder, throttle, elevator) with First Person View, if you cannot get such a plane for whatever reason, this plane is a fine choice for your first flights.
