Works very well, great value for the money, the plastic material is light weight yet sturdy enough to handle very warm/hot air blowing for 12+ hours straight. This is a fairly quiet unit. Because is has several layers, you're able to dehydrate many fruits/ veggies/ meats at a time. The size is fairly compact because it's stacking.. I use this to make liver dog treats for my dog. Have also tried dehydrating apples, pineapples, beets, etc. Would recommend getting the item(s) you want to dehydrate as dry as possible first. This will cut down your dehydrating time.

I've been using this nonstop since I bought it and love it. Dried fruit, herbs, even dried spruce and cranberries for simmer pots all done perfectly. Dried banana slices are like candy bites! Easy clean up and it dosen't take up a lot of counter space. I purchased two extra trays so I could do more apples at a time. Can't recommend this enough especially if you have a smaller kitchen.

UPDATE: I've used this quite a bit now and still stand by my original review. They really shouldn't say they can go in the dishwasher because of the fuss it would cause, like only 2 trays can go on the top shelf and you would have to take them out before the heat cycle started. I have much better things to do than worry about getting to the dishwasher in time. I still give it a 4 star for this reason. I truly love how easy this product is to use. I LOVE that it turns off at the end time. This way, I start the process in the evening and wake up to a finished product. I'm truly addicted to the spiced apple slices and also to the bananas! I'm still experimenting with other recipies. It's so fun!! I liked how easy this was to use. It's easy to hand wash. It does state you can put it in the dishwasher BUT only on the top shelf and you need to take it out BEFORE the heat cycle starts. Well, for one thing, you probably can only get two trays on the top shelf anyway. It seems siily to say they can be put in the dishwasher. They really are easy to clean. I just put them all in a sink full of hot, soapy water for a few minutes, then wash with a soft brush. This cleans between the holes. My only dislike is the ridiculous price of extra roll up trays. For the price of four, you could buy another whole unit. Something is a bit strange there. The quality of the product is good. It worked as it should. I've made blueberry roll ups and spiced apple slices so far. The roll ups came out ok. Guess I need more practice on them. I'm really not sure if the parchment paper was needed (recipe book said to use them). However, the same recipe book for the spiced apple slices was spot on. They came out so good. I'm looking forward to making some jerky next. All in all, it's a great product and I will be using it a lot.

Hope it lasts (some reviews said no) bc I like it a lot. 7 trays will do 2 large apples or one pineapple. Super easy to program. Noise just sounds like a fan. Apple chips came out great - for crunch, do thin and 12 hrs

I love this dehydrator. It is very easy to use, and it is easy to store. The recipe book is very helpful. I use it primarily to dehydrate chicken and beef for my dogs. They LOVE it!

Esta deshidratadora produce gases tóxicos y podría incendiar tu casa. Todo se debe a un error de diseño y una elección de materiales baratos, las charolas gotean a la respiración principal, que posteriormente lleva el agua al motor y la tarjeta madre del dispositivo. Mi unidad se detuvo a los minutos de empezar a trabajar con un fuerte olor a plástico quemado, al abrirla me di cuenta de que la placa estaba llena de líquido amarillo, que justo coincidía en que había deshidratado mango un día antes. Mi recomendación es que no la compres ni el nuevo modelo ya que comparten el mismo diseño de charola de goteo deficiente. No te pongas en peligro ni a tu familia.

Definitivamente un producto estupendo, yo soy fan de la carne seca y esta deshidratadora trabaja muy bien, super fácil de usar. 100% recomendado.

Easy ! Fruits and veggies and spices too.

I bought this to take with me to Jordan to use because buying things online/shipping is so difficult and expensive here. I was so excited to read the reviews and try the dehydrator. The first use was fine. I dehydrated bananas, fruits and apples and even though it wasn't crispy like the pictures, it did the job. I wanted to try it out again and about 7 hours later, it stopped working. It won't turn on period. I am so disappointed because I do not even know how to return this. I have to ask a friend to take it when she visits NL but it might be too late to return. I really wanted to like this product but only on my second use, it died on me. What a disaapointment.
