The BEST Potty Training tool. You won’t need any others.
Let’s start with the one and only con: it doesn’t have the option to add one extra step. Now to the Pros: it’ll fit any size toilet! Kids love it so much more than the ones on the floor. Your child won’t fall through! The seat is so comfy and doesn’t get cold like hard plastic does. Your kid will love to climb it. It has hand rails at the top for balancing and safety. It flexes so the angle is adjustable. It truly is ALL IN ONE. You can choose the height of the middle step (but really two small steps would’ve been better). You can put it above or below the built in sitting seat of the toilet. It doesn’t flop around. It’s very stable. It comes with a complete extra set of tools and screws! This is amazing in and of itself. However, a nice little round mini step could really make it perfect.Tbh: I wish I would’ve just bought this from the beginning instead of trying all the cheaper options first. It made potty training so much easier and faster. We made more progress in one day than in two months. Skip straight to this. Don’t mess around with seats or seat covers, floor based potties, etc

Not for elongated oval toilets
I bought this for potty training my then 2 1/2 year old. At first, she was very excited for her "potty present," but that excitement soon vanished. Our primary toilet is an elongated oval in shape. This seat fits onto the toilet seat well enough. There's a small gap at the back, but it doesn't affect the functionality of this device. However, the elongated oval hangs over the step, making the usable space on the step less than a couple of inches. My daughter found it very difficult to use the step for getting up to the toilet. Discouraged, she returned to using her little potty, or asking for help to get up onto the big toilet. This behavior has carried on the nearly a year now. Now 3 1/2, my daughter is better able to climb onto the toilet using this seat, but it's still a bit difficult for her to keep her feet on the step. Bottom line: This isn't a good seat for a toilet with an elongated bowl. Other products have much larger steps that might be a better fit.

3 issues: mediocre stability, steep steps, poor handles
If you want a cute potty training seat, this is for you. If you want one that’s functional, I recommend you keep looking. There are three obvious issues with this seat that I noticed within 5 minutes of putting it together. It makes me wonder how much product testing they did with this, as I feel like these are relatively easy fixes that would make this a great seat.1. It is not very sturdy. Now, it’s not going to fall off the toilet, but it does wobble enough to make a toddler weary of climbing it. If the seat had a hook or clamp on the underside to attach it more firmly to the real toilet seat, that would help so much.2. The steps are too steep. We have a standard toilet, and there is very little clearance from the toilet seat to the second step. There isn’t even enough room for my 2 year old to put her feet securely on that step to then be able to turn around and sit on the potty safely. If the steps came out just a little farther (even like an inch), that would help.3. The handles to grab onto are very small and are solid. Larger, open handles that would allow a toddler to firmly grip them would’ve been a good idea.I am returning the seat and hope to find something better soon.

Great for potty training
My daughter loves this seat and it is super comfortable. She uses it every day and refuses to use the mini toilet for potty training. She feels like a big girl and I think that’s really helped with potty training. The cushion is nice and the steps are helpful. It was also easy to assemble. Best potty training equipment ever!

Easy to assemble and easy to use
First of all, I love how pretty the color is!! I got the pink and it is a light pink not the really bright pink that are on most kids things. It was really easy to put together and fits right on the toilet for us. I love how we can fold it up when not using and just slide it to store next to our toilet until we need it again. She can climb on but has a hard time turning around to sit down, she needs to hold onto me to do that.
