It helped me a lot when I was struggling with gut issues. Written in an easy style not too complicated. Just right when your tum is causing problems and you can’t focus so well. Excellent book.

Fantastic informative read
As a chef and home Economist by trade I have always taken a keen interest in food and food production.I love to learn about the effects of foods on the body but find some books very scientific and hard to read.This book gives all the facts but it's so nice to read.As someone who has also suffered with gut health this book has been such a source of knowledge.The author whom has suffered with gut health explains it in such a brilliant non complicated way, making it a pleasure to learn about all aspects of gut health. It's full of interesting facts but the way the chapters are written it's not heavy and too much info at the same time.I absolutely love all the quotes and tips and appreciate the recaps at the end of the chapter. I've not quite finished the book but I know it's a book that will stay on my shelf where I can return to it again and again. and I look forward to trying the recipes. Highly recommended. Thankyou!

Reassurance that I am not alone in my quest to live with the elephant in the room.
This book is written in a punchy style which made it a real page turner as I wanted to know what will happen next. As an IBS suffer for 50 years it was comforting to realise there are so many others experiencing what I do. I found that Cara Wheatley-McGrain, due to her own personal experience, understands totally the discomfort and frustration of the long journey to find the life style and foods that help those who suffer with IBD and IBS to live a 'normal' life. Cara's book guides rather than dictates and that to me is a winner as it doesn't put the reader under pressure. The choice is theirs to take away from the book as to what helps in their situation. Well done Cara.

Utterly amazing, a life changing read.
This book is literally a game changer and should be given to you after diagnosis. So beautifully written from the heart, this book will completely turn your mindset around for the better and I’m only part way through. I have learned amazing techniques that help me heal from within. If you suffer from any issues with your gut you need this book in your life

This delightful book contains everything you need to know about your Gut health. Backed up by science, I found the book to be unbiased and very informative. The author's own journey of IBD has been beautifully weaved through the content and gives a real insight into the importance of gut care and health. A must read!

Well researched scientific data and clearly inspired from personal experience. Like getting some sound advice from a dear friend! ++++ highly recommended

A Mindful guide
I bought this book at a time when I kept suffering bloating. I love the gentle tone and the way it uses mindfulness as a way as relating to your gut. This was much more than a typical health guide - very holistic and encourages you to view your body in a more compassionate way.

The importance of gut health to our overall health is only really now being understood. This book is very informative and gives you the knowledge you need to understand how to look after your gut and thereby help boost your overall health.
