Edit: Even before my review was approved, the curing lamp stopped working after only one prior use, on just one finger just to check it out. Obviously I'm returning it to Amazon, and replacing it with better quality merchandise.Original review: I decided I want to start doing my own gel manicures at home, because I work a lot so it's hard to find time to go to the salon. This kit came with literally everything you could want (with one exception noted below), for the price of a single manicure plus tip (I got it on a lightning deal for $20 off), so I figured I'd try it.Disclaimer: This review pertains to my experience doing manicures on natural nails only.Pros: it comes with everything you could possibly need or want, including tons of colors (though in very small bottles), jewels, stickers (kind of ugly in my opinion), several nice nail files, a Dremel like electric file with multiple tips and infinite speeds, tape for making designs, etc. It even includes a nice cuticle oil, multiple tiny brushes for detail work, a bigger brush for cleaning after buffing nails, and all the little things you wouldn't think to buy as a beginner.The only necessity not included, that I've noticed, is polish remover (unless you use the Dremel style file, which isn't the best idea since it can damage your nails if overused or not used properly). So you'll definitely need to also purchase either pure acetone or one of the kits which bubble the polish for removal, but neither is expensive.Cons: The polish is FAR thicker than they use in salons, and it doesn't mix well even with a lot of shaking beforehand, so it's much harder to get the very thin even layers needed for proper curing, much less the appearance of a professional manicure. It's such extremely poor quality polish, I'm honestly kind of shocked by it; you could find much better quality at your local drugstore.Part of the issue is surely my own inexperience, since I'm a newbie at doing gel nails at home, but I've been doing regular manicures on myself for over 40 years, and getting professional gel manicures for over 5 years, so I at least have an understanding of the process. The French tip guides are also such extremely poor quality, they're pretty much useless. The base coat works well, but the rest is not at all up to the standards I expected.So while I'm reasonably happy with the major components of the kit (the curing lamp and electric file, plus the conventional files), I'm not at all happy with the polish or the guides. They're all going straight into the trash.I've ordered much better quality polish, much better French tip guides, and much better quality base coat and top coat. I'm hopeful that will resolve the issues.The curing lamp can be used for manicures or pedicures, since it doesn't have a base, which is nice. It takes far longer to cure the polish than it should, but I suspect the problem is the polish and but the lamp. I'll find out for sure as soon as I get the better polish.The kit is definitely not worth the regular price since the polish is so bad; had I paid full price for it, I'd be extremely unhappy. Since I got it on a lightning deal though, I'm not going to complain about needing to buy replacement products.I'll update after getting the new polish, so I'll know for sure if the lamp is working as intended. I really like the files and the electric file, so as long as the lamp is actually working, I'll be reasonably happy with the purchase.

I use this all the time. The nail polish itself lasts for about 3-7 days depending on how hard on your nails you are. It sometimes lasts a little longer but not by much.

This is only been the second time I'm using Gellan and applying gel polish with the lamp is working great. However, with the nail drill it's no longer working. And that was the whole point in buying this set because I didn't have to buy it separately, but it looks like I'm going to have to

The only thing I did not like about this set is the drill. Didn’t seem to do what I really needed it to do. The gel polish and the lamp all work great though.

It’s like the Easy Bake Oven of nail kits - it’s not easy and it doesn’t really bake anything! Spent 2.5 hours trying to drill off some dip nails. Ended up getting out the Dremmel because this kit’s drill was so weak it was hardly scratching the surface. Then when we finally got most of it off, I couldn’t get the nail polish to fully cure.Tried it on my mother because she hates going to the nail salon, but after this disaster she said she wouldn’t mind the nail salon at all and she’d happily pay double!I’ll admit that the colors are lovely and there is a lot of stuff in the kit. If you’re buying it for the polish only, knock yourself out. But, I tried to use this kit three different times and couldn’t get it to work properly even once. I didn’t find the drill or light to be effective at all. Unless you went to cosmetology school, don’t bother with this. Just go to the salon.

I like it how convenient this is for me. I work in food service and technically, I am not allowed to have polish. I have a nice boss who allows polish as long as it is either gel or acrylics (I assume. Because co workers wears it). I mainly use the white and gray, but since there are a lot of colors, I must use it as well. Check the actual liquid before picking your color. A bottle can look light gray in the outside, but can sometimes turn out as lilac. The nail pen was so useful. They are not rechargeable. I used an extension cord for my own convenience. I use gel polishes on both pedicure and manicures now. After my last nail appointment, it felt like a total rip off because the lady that did my feet did not do a good job. So I decided buying this. I am still learning how to use it correctly.

I used the machine for my personal use six times. The last time I wasn’t able to finish my toenails! I think I know the price is good but the rotary machine is already broken, not working. Six times used. It is not worth it. Don’t waste your money on this. Oh! And I didn’t used it on my nails because I work in a pharmaceutical and they don’t allow us to have nails done.

I love the nail colors and the UV light is so helpful and lets me have salon quality nails at home. I love the kit overall, but I had to doc off points because of the nail drill. It stopped working after 2 (very light) uses. It looks like a problem with the wiring and connection, but it's unfixable and unusable now which is upsetting.

After spending so much on a kit to do my nails my excitement soon becomes disappointment! The small UV light stopped working including the nail machine after having it plugged in for only 10 minutes!!! Have requested and send back with the shipping label for a refund! But no response has been given for the refund and now it's been over 1 month. Honestly so disappointed with Amazon as well as this product. I would definitely not recommend spending this amount for a awful kit.

Product was shipped and delivered as stated. When inquiring about kit, seller responded very quickly! Quality of kit is superb! Definitely would recommend this product from this seller!
