Hanger before and after
The cpap tube cleaning system works great. I put hot water in at the sink with a drop of some dish soap, and swish back and forth, let hang with the end caps (see picture), then empty, rinse in sink with hot water, then hang to dry (see picture). Nice product. so far, works fine. Note: I also purchased a Caretouch cpap tube cleaning brush which works better than just swishing with water.

I was skeptical but it's a great product.
It's small flimsy and cheap but it works really well. I love the hose plugs it comes with. Makes it easy to slosh the water around in it. The hose can be hung 2 ways...wet with water in it to soak and slung over the grooved area on the hanger to drip dry. One of those few flimsy things that work really well.

A MUST for travel!
I recently traveled to a country with very high humidity and had limited facilities for cleaning my cpap tube. The weather made it very difficult to thoroughly dry the cpap tube and the tube would develop a musty smell. I couldn't find an effective way to speed the drying time--even with a hair dryer. However, this cleaning system, plus a skinny bottle brush that I pushed through the tube, made it easy to give the tube a deep cleaning and helped to avoid mildew. It also provided a clean place to hang the tube--not the way depicted in the picture, but hung over the curved saddle in an upside down "U" position. I would also push through twisted up heavy duty paper towels to hasten the drying and avoid the musty, mildew situation. I now use the system regularly at home--without having to do the extra scrubbing/paper towel process.. I use baby wash and water (suggested by supplier) for regular cleaning and a light bleach and water solution for occasional cleaning. Well worth the price.

Only if you have the larger, standard CPAP tubing and don't mind water on the floor
Only fits 1 size tubing, the larger standard Respironics. This is simply a tiny hangar of $4 worth of cheap plastic. No glass in a suitable location in my bathroom and it won't hook anywhere. This has to be mounted high--too high for shorter people to use. I screwed in a ceiling hook and hung it from that. Note that in this picture the tubing only hangs down about 4", since it is less than a foot long. Your tubing may drag the floor. (The tubing does not come with this "system"). It says to let the filled tube soak by hanging it as shown. That requires a really good fit to avoid spilling water. Then you hang it over the rounded part with the caps off to let it drain. More water on the floor. This all said, it does make the difficult job of cleaning a long hose easier, and you need to do that daily to stay healthy or eventually you will catch something. Here it does NOT dry the tubing in a few hours due to humidity. That puts you at risk of infection since the bad guys grow in warm, damp, dry places (mine takes days to dry). I reviewed a stick with brush and sponge attachments, and the sponge helps dry it. I use a Hurricane dryer--the only way to quickly dry a tube.It would be much more useful if they included adapters for smaller tubing. Surely that could be done for little more money. You might do almost as well by hanging the tube over the shower cutain rod, if you have one.

A very simple but useful tool for an onerous chore.
I've been using CPAP for a while now and cleaning the gear is a pain. The tubes are always an issue. For 12 bucks, what did I have to lose? This was a good call. I use a white vinegar and water solution. With a measuring cup, I pour the solution into each end of the hanging tube. I capped the ends and let it soak for a while. The mask and the tank now have a lot of room to soak well in a small bowl. When I empty the solution, you flip the hose and let it air dry. A few hours later, it's good to go. Less solution, less mess, less time and trouble. Some of the reviews have hit this item for being flimsy or the caps not fitting - I have had no problems at all.

Very Poor Design
Two issues define the poor design of this gadget:-- The provided plugs simply do not fit in the end of a standard CPAP hose, making them worthless.-- The slots where the CPAP hose ends fit are too shallow and do not secure the hose fitting well, meaning that a slight bump to the hose while hanging can knock the hose end off the hanger -resulting in cleaning solution all over the floor. I would suggest some band should swing over the hose end to lock in place on the hanger.Waste of money.

Simply Made Product that is a Major Solution to Cleaning A CPAP
This product has made cleaning the longer CPAP tubing an absolute breeze. I make an 16 ounce, 80 / 20 mixture of white vinegar and water. Then I make a "U" shape of my tubing, and pour the mixture into the tubing until it is about 80% full. I cap one end of the tubing, and continue pouring the mixture in the other end until full. Then, I cap the other end. The tubing is then hung on the hanger. If you drape the tubing over the hanger, you will notice that an air bubble will come to the top. This will happen since the tubing cannot be filled to 100% capacity. So, after a couple of hours of hanging from the product, I then invert the tubing and drape over the hanger. This will allow all areas of the tube to be cleaned. This a very simply made plastic product that makes cleaning the CPAP tubing a non-issue.

Very helpful little gadget
This little gadget has made cleaning my CPAP hose much easier. I fill the hose with water and add Dr. Bronner's baby soap (unscented). I shake the tubing around a bit, then place the end pieces and hang the tubing to soak for 30 minutes. After removing the end pieces, emptying and rinsing the tube (multiple times), I hang the tubing upside down to dry.My only gripe is that neither of the end pieces truly fits the connector end of the DreamStation heated tubing so you have to be careful when moving the tubing around to hold it in place. It won't actually keep water from leaking out. It seems it wouldn't take much to provide a couple of different end piece options even at small additional cost. But overall I am very glad for this purchase.
