The best add on to my TV
The Light Mi LED strip lights are the best add on to my TV. The color corresponds to what color's on the edges of the screen. They just bleed out of the TV. It's a great product & is way cheaper than the Phillips Hue. I like it so much, i bought another one and installed it on to my dad's TV.

Works great! Just like a Hue Sync Box but at a much better price. One issue though...
This does work extremely well. At first I had an issue where one side of the LED strip wasn't working correctiy. I should have read the seller email better as it states to plug in the LED's before plugging in the power to the unit. I unplugged the unit and plugged it in and it worked just fine after that. The other reviewer who gave this a bad review is correct however. This unit is only HDMI 1.4. TO have true HDR you need higher. To get around this I bought a $30 splitter that supports HDR and downscales. The downscale goes to the Sync Box while the regular picture (no loss in quality) goes to your TV. To me, this added expense is still worth it as the Hue Sync box goes for way more then you would pay for this and the splitter combined. With the splitter attached the unit works extremely well and I lose no fidelity to the source video quality on the TV itself.I still give it 5 stars because it saved me hundreds of dollars over a Hue Sync Box.

Needlessly cloud connected garbage
The app requires the following before it will even let you configure the device:* Your phone GPS location* Your email address or phone number* A password* Verification that your email or phone work* Ability to scan your WiFi network for hosts (for a device that isn't even on WiFi - It's on bluetooth)Note that none of this is required to change the color of lights behind a TV, yet the device requires it before it will let you change any settings on the device.Returning for a refund.

Don’t waste your money
Don’t waste your money does not support hdr and you have dumb down the picture with a hdmi splitter. Very misleading
