The smell, the silky, smooth, shiny hair, and the rich, thick oil that goes a long way!
Sebastian Dark Oil is a true wonder in hair products! First, the smell is like the sandalwood oil perfumes I used to get at bohemian gift shops… delightful! Second, my hair, which requires daily if not 2X daily heat brushing, is silky and smooth with no frizz or flyaways. It isn’t greasy either, but then again my thick and sometimes a little coarse hair drinks up oils in no time. Finally, it takes such a small amount since it is so very rich.*I immediately applied it to dry, not-yet-heat-brushed hair upon receiving it and was quite impressed. I look forward to using it post shower on its own as my hair already had a generous amount of Elizavecca oil in it.

My hair feels amazing
I was nervous about using a hair oil because my scalp gets greasy. However, I needed something because my hair is so damaged from heat that it was dry and frizzy. This stuff is amazing! My hair is definitely softer when I use it. It’s also, for lack of a better word, bouncier. It just moves so nicely. Usually when I blow dry my hair, the shape is just off. I always have to straighten it to make it look nice. With this stuff, it dries with a pretty, slight wave. As far as my hair being greasy…well it’s not at all. It’s the opposite. Normally, by the second day after a shower, my hair is greasy, and now it hasn’t been until the third day. I don’t wake up with flat bed head anymore either. It also smells really good. If it’s not obvious, I am so happy I bought this!

I use this whole line!
The oil will last forever, I usually buy, Wella hair oil. But since I found the, Dark Oil line, I buy nothing but! My hair is healthy and has a nice sheen to it. I recommend using the shampoo and conditioner with the oil for the whole experience.

This is one of my husband's favorite beard oil's. He has tried quite a few and always goes back to this one. It smells light and nice and works even better.
