I couldn't be happier
I bought this clock 7 months ago and I couldn't be happier with it. It's across my room and I can easily read all of the info on it. The only slightly odd thing is that when it gets unplugged, with a battery in it, it doesn't stay on. It retains the time and date and when it's plugged back in the time and date is still correct but it won't display when it's unplugged. In 6 months, it's lost about 40 seconds, perfectly reasonable. The thermometers aren't lab calibrated sensors or anything but they're within a couple of degrees of anything else I use to measure temp, so also perfectly reasonable. I would totally buy this again.update: a year and a half now and I still love this clock. The battery for the outdoor thermometer just died for the first time. 6 stars

My aging eyes can see it, the red color doesn't light up the bedroom
I have tried a few different digital LED clocks in my bedroom over the years. Of them, the red LEDs are my least favorite, aesthetically speaking. I really like blue LEDs. Unfortunately they light up your bedroom like an airport runway and make it hard to speak, and as your eyes get older it is increasingly difficult to distinguish blue-on-black even if the blue is lighted. The clock sits about 10 feet away from me. The numbers are big enough and it's easy enough to distinguish red on black that I can see the time without my glasses easily. And red doesn't light up the bedroom so much, I assume for the same reason that red doesn't ruin your night vision, though I'm just guessing at that. It's not so bright it keeps me awake, the numbers are easy to distinguish half asleep and without my glasses, it keeps time and it tells me temperatures both inside and out, though I confess I forgot those readouts were there because they are much smaller and I can't see them from the bed. But they're nice in theory. Perfect bedroom clock for me.

Great if you aren't buying it for the temperature feature.....
We wanted a clock that lit up so we could see it when we woke up at night. Great for that purpose. The display is large and well lit. The temperature is not important to us. but both the inside and outside temperatures are off by 5 or 6 degres - register too hot. We weren't looking for that in clock, it just came with it, so we don't care. If you do, I would suggest you look elsewhere.

Nice clock. Lousy indoor thermometer.
I love the big red display. Easiest on eyes at night & doesn’t disrupt sleep. However, especially if you’re going to wall mount it, know that the indoor temperature will be 2-5°F higher than actual temp. The unit generates heat when running, and wherever they put the sensor must be too close to the heat generation point. It’s an enormous unit, so they could have placed the sensor at the periphery of the unit to achieve more accurate results.I compared it to a thermometer which we’ve used for well over a year and has been verified against our digital home thermometer and another thermostat. The verified unit read 75°F and this unit read 79°F.The exterior sensor seems accurate enough at this point. Haven't had it long enough yet to comment on battery life.I know the interior sensor reads a few degrees warmer than actual, and I can adjust for it in my head - and I can live with that for the sake of having the big red clock display which I do enjoy. It is way overpriced at ~44 though. It’s a $10 clock and a $10 thermometer at best. But the size is hard to find in combination with red display, so they had me by the tender bits there.
