. Review: Beyonce's Best Vocally - Though I've loved Beyonce for years, it took me a while to buy one of her albums. All I can say is, I made the right choice! I've heard "B'Day" (I bought the Deluxe Edition just for "Flaws n' All," but after a first listen, I could not comprehend why they'd ruin such an amazingly beautiful, touching song by adding some weird scratching background sound. Horrible. Plus, many of the other songs were too thumpy-rappy, making "Flaws n' All" feel awkwardly out of place. In fact, they should have added "Flaws n' All' to "I Am...Sasha Fierce"! I returned the CD.) OK, enough about "B'Day." If you love Beyonce for her gorgeous vocals (which her hip-hop/rap/street songs do not showcase, to say the least), "I Am...Sasha Fierce" is the CD for you. The minute you hear the first track, you'll notice that Beyonce's growth as a singer is undeniable and exciting. This is a 2-disc release and yes, I've read the complaints about the two CDs being wildly different, what's the point, etc. While it might have been nice for the entire album to be ALL ballads and songs that truly showcase her vocals, I have to say her singing is featured first and foremost on all tracks, which makes the whole album very enjoyable, in part because of the disparity, and, bottom line, it's Beyonce at her very best. Now in her late 20s, her voice is richer and stronger, and we're hearing her gifted range like never before. She's also sounding more confident at this stage, as she should. This is the Beyonce from Oscar night 2005, when she belted out an unprecedented three-song set. Those performances blew me away and she definitely left me wanting more. This is the big, bold, beautiful voice I hear on "I Am...Sasha Fierce." The first CD - her softer, slower, more personal collection - is just that, and all the songs are beautiful in their own way. These are true, classic ballads (such as "Halo"), and you're treated to one whole CD of beautifully written songs and incomparable vocals. But when I'm in the mood to crank up "Single Ladies," in goes the second CD, her "Sasha Fierce" side. It's definitely more pumped up, but almost none of the songs fall into the earlier hip-hop/Jay-Z-inspired style of many of the B'Day songs, for example. The second "Fierce" CD songs are definitely lively and witty, yet still melodic and varied. But again, her voice is what you hear, not all the noise. You can't go wrong with this album. Review: Fantastic Album - This is a fantastic album. Or actually I should say albums since this is a two-disc set and each disk is pretty much a separate album. The first is titled I Am and is full of nice, wonderful, vulnerable love songs/ballads. The second CD is titled Sasha Fierce, and is full of the more upbeat and fun songs. The ballads on the first disc are all really wonderful to listen to. If I Were A Boy is catchy and really fun to sing along actually. Halo is great. Disappear has a sweet, nice melody. Broken-Hearted Girl is another fun catchy song to sing. Ave Maria is wonderfully sung. Smash Into You is pretty touching and sweet. Satellites is also wonderfully sung. That's Why You're Beautiful is alright; it's my least fave of the ballads. The fun songs on the second disc are great too. I love Single Ladies. Radio is great fun. Diva is pretty catchy and interesting. Sweet Dreams is ok. Video Phone is sexy. I love Hello. Ego is pretty great; lots of innuendo I think is apparent. Scared Of Lonely is ok. Overall, I really enjoy this album. It's different from the B'day and Dangerously in Love. And I think that's pretty awesome because it's a Beyonce that's fresh and interesting and diverse and still very enjoyable.

Demorou bastante pra ser enviado. Pensei até que nao seria entregue dentro do prazo pois o produto foi enviado praticamente faltando uma semana pra esgotar o prazo da entrega. Chegou no último dia do prazo, mas chegou. Nao veio avariado, acrilico e disco perfeitos. Impressão do encarte é boa.
