This works with 3.3V, so if you want it to last longer, use 3.3V
This actuator works fine with 3.3V. Obviously the pull force won't be as strong, but it's strong enough to retract the piston. Less voltage == less current == less heat == less wear on the device. It also works with 5V without frying, but probably wouldn't last very long.

Way smaller than i was expecting
Make sure to pay attention to the size details because these things are tiny!! Unfortunately these will not work for the project that I am working on, but they do work for the prototype and testing out my code. I am working on a biometric locking mechanism with an ESP 8266.

Good unit
Could be a little stronger but get's the job done.

Good for minor projects
Tiny solenoid. Not good for bigger projects. Still has some power but not as effective as the other ones in the market. Also the wires are really short

Small and weak
A lot smaller than expected and broke same day. Could’ve ordered this from overseas for $2, but needed it quick and it broke first day. Waste of money.

Works well, but the return spring is very weak.
I like the small size, and it's reliable. But the return spring is just barely strong enough to hold the plunger in place against gravity.
