I wouldn't say that it's complicated to assembly, just difficult. Some of the predrilled holes, especially for the metal pieces, were not lined up properly. Was still able to assemble completely. Pretty heavy overall as well.

I absolutely love this coffee table! The instructions are not hard per what I have read in the previous reviews. It fits in perfectly with my living room and it works exactly how advertised and needed!

I always recommend a personal set of simple tools for everyone to own, as you’ll never know when you need to use them, and this is a time where having your own may be better than the one Allen key they give you, when doesn’t have a Phillips head side for the wood screws.It seems sturdy, definitely has a good weight to it and seems solid (it’s not real wood), except the hinges that lift the top up, takes two hands to prevent uneven movement of the lid of the table.Holes don’t line up well when assembling the bottom section to the main unit, I have just over half of the mounting bolts in (and had to partially unscrew the pre drilled nuts to have the bolts even be able to reach them, another point where a small Walmart set of tools may come in handy), yet it still feels quite sturdy despite its short height.Directions were relatively straight forward.Good for a small apartment coffee table, if you have the money, I’d say go for something nicer, but if you really need something, this is that bad of a choice given its selling price.

The instructions are stapled together weird so take a minute to put them in order. A drill with hex and philips bits is handy. If they made a spacer block to hold the riser at the proper height while assembling it would make it so much easier. I used a bock of wood from my garage. The guide stickers would be better if they color coded for right and left as only the riser says right and left but not the other parts.Overall I'm happy with it but glad I'm done with the assembly.

I like the table because of the fact it lifts up into another table for you to sit on the couch and eat at there is a lot of storage underneath it plus you have the extra Shelf for more storage it does not take up a lot of room it is very sturdy and the wood grain on it and color is very pretty

When opening or closing the top, grab in the middle and go slow... The top is hollow and just feels cheap. The table looks OK at a glance but we had a hard tome removing the glue from all the stickers they place on the outside - they could have placed all the stickers so when assembled they are under or inside the table but nope... A great big sticker right out front! and it took a strong chemical to remove the glue residue, we thought it may even remove the finish but we used it sparingly and fast. Don't sit on this, the top is hollow and may cave in.

Overall not a bad table. Love the storage space it has. Wish it could slide up more easily. Looks bigger on pictures then in real life.

Normal sized, sturdy, and easy to assemble except for the table top

Great table, I do recommend. I just wish the front didn't arrive damaged and the back didn't have glue. Overall, it's great for the price. I added baskets under the table.

I bought this coffee table to go with the matching end tables. I could not be more please with this set. sturdy and will last for years to come. The extra storage of lifting table is a bonus and is perfect height when sitting on couch. If you decide on this coffee table the MUST haves to go with are the side tables. Shipping packaging is top notch, no way to get damaged in transit.

Not hard to assemble but plan not clear. A month of utilization and so far very satisfied. Easy to lift and replace, good storage space and very versatile. We’ll see if it passes the test of time as the brackets used to lift the table are held by 8 small screws, but so far can’t complain.
