I recently purchased these pliers, and they’ve quickly become one of my go-to tools for a variety of tasks. I got these mainly for myself. You see, I have significant neuropathy in my hands and it is very difficult for me to open certain caps or jars. Depending on the size of the lid I can adjust these Slip Joint Pliers to get a secure grip without hurting my hands trying. I use the smaller pliers and keep them right in the kitchen junk drawer where their handiest, my son took the larger pliers. I put my name on mine and where they need to be at all times, "IN THE KITCHEN". So right off the bat, my husband wanted to borrow them to crack his walnut shells. He prefers using the small size rather than the large ones for that particular chore. The small pliers are great for a woman's size hand and cushion grip makes them more comfortable to handle. They seem very well made and the design of the textured grip doesn't let your fingers slip off.

I love these slip joint pliers! What do I need them for on an almost daily basis? I use them for opening bottle tops, like juice, milk in round plastic cartons, etc. Even tiny essential oil bottles and cosmetic bottles. I have arthritic thumbs, so twisting off bottle caps is almost impossible for me without pain and strain. These pliers are perfect! They break the seal, so you can get the bottle cap off easily. Of course, they are metal, so you have to be careful not to destroy the bottle cap if it is plastic, so go slowly and just apply enough pressure to get the job done! I suppose they are great for other chores around the house as well, but they are my bottle top openers! Couldn't live without them!

These are solid channel-lock pliers. Full heavy metal pliers that work as intended. The price is about normal and as good or better than found at stores.

I was trying to change my shower head because the one my apartment came with is not good plus I need a shower head with a filter so I had went through two wrench’s and both didn’t work this tool was the only one that worked so it’s a true game changer . I did have some trouble with it in the beginning I guess to get the right grip on it but I got it off now I have my better shower head yay yay and yay again !!

Both sets of pliers are on the "cheaply" made side. The grooved areas for gripping nuts, and bolts are distorted and not in opposing sync. Weird off balance in hand, with flimsy grips. Not the quality I expected from this well known American brand that's manufactured in China.
