We think these are really great. They taste good, always have a good reliable consistency, quality and texture and the individual packaging make it convenient and easy to grab and go. The variety of flavors make these appealing to all the adults in the house and the kids like them too! Not too sweet and sugary, but still a good flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. They're packed with protein and a really good value for the money.

Highly recommend. Texture is stiff think cosmic brownie density. Not light and fluffy cake. But it’s a protein bar so you have to know what to expect. They are thick so drink beverage with. The flavor is on point. Carb and protein sugars all macros in check. I use on the P90x plan. They are sturdy don’t melt or freeze. Don’t upset my belly. Celiac GF. Also like: deluxe chocolate, cosmic brownies, cookies and cream, Avoid: zig zag cake. It has horrible after taste I can’t even place. Somewhere between chemical, rotten potato, fishy, metallic. Unpleasant.

I ordered these in Lemon Cake, Chocolate Deluxe and Chocolate Mint Cookie to try them out. Love that I can get 19 - 21 grams of protein in a "meal bar". I found the chocolate deluxe bar to be a bit gritty which I account for by the amount of protein they put in the bar (21 grams) with 17 carbs and 180 calories, but had a nice brownie-type chew to it. The chocolate mint cookie was good, but not as minty as I was expecting (with 19 grams of protein, 20 carbs & 180 calories). The lemon cake bar I was really surprised. It was very tasty, not gritty, had a nice lemon flavor (with 20 grams of protein), but was also the highest in calories with 200 and the lowest in carbs with 16. Any of them eaten with a hot beverage definitely takes the hunger pangs away. I have to say the lemon was definitely my favorite and worth the 200 calories as a meal replacement with a cup of coffee or hot tea. I'd give the lemon a 5 star and the two chocolates 4 stars just because they weren't quite what I was expecting.

Oh my goodness. Those are so good. Tastes like heaven, almost like a perfectly chewy snickers nougat with a mild peanut butter taste and nice rich hard chocolate. I can't tell you how much better these are than others. Also, a very nice sized bar. At least one inch thick so you feel like you are biting into something substantial and it's much longer than the shrinking Atkins bars. You really feel like you are getting what you are paying for compared to say Atkins bars and other protein bars. It only took one and now I want to order every flavor. It took me a while to eat it because it was so nice and big and chewy. It was like very satisfying and they really got this flavor right. Not like a peanut butter cup but more like a combination of snickers, peanut butter cup with nougat. YUMMMMMMY....I'm sold. I can't wait to try the other flavor. I can tell it's gonna be a favorite in this household.

Decadent caramel. This is the best protein bars I have ever tasted. The salted caramel is fantastic. it is low sugar, gluten free and has 190 calories. The texture is very nice. I love the 19 gr of protein as a quick lunch. These are my new go to protein bars.

I'm rating 3 stars because some flavors like Sundae Cone are 5 and others like Galaxy Brownie are like a 2. Sundae cone had decent taste and texture was pretty soft. Galaxy Brownie was was so hard to bite through it kinda hurt my teeth because it was so dense. If you're looking to hard commit, the variety pack would almost be worth it so you can see what flavors are good because some flavors might having you discount the whole brand. Pure Protein isn't the best of the best, but for price and macros you could do worse. It's budget friendly and good for an emergency snack or for packing on trips.

It’s rare to find a protein bar that manages to hit both taste and nutrition so well, and these absolutely deliver. In short, Pure Protein Bars have set a new standard for me. Bought it for the unusual lemon flavor, rarely found in a protein bars. Is best when kept cold in the fridge. Tastes just like a lemon dessert, so it's great for cravings. Could be softer to be a 5 out of 5.

I eat one of these bars after a cardio session and prior to a few hours of yardwork. I initially purchased the combination pack from Costco but didn’t eat the peanut bars and didn’t really like the plain chocolate ones. Settled on the chocolate chip and haven’t looked back. Sometimes they seem to be in short supply so I tend to order accordingly.
