Lol, No. I have been using this daily for about 10 years and I am older than dirt and I still have more hair than most 25 year old men. :)

I use it on wet hair and I wet my hands before applying the gel onto them.

It made my hair shine a little. It's a good product because of the lack of harmful chemicals

I have never used Dipity Doo. This does seam to give my hair a little bounce when my hair is cut really short, and almost spiked on top. I have no Idea what it would do with longer hair? It does give me a little bounce in my step when I use it. :)
