I am trying to locate a device that will convert an ethernet connection to a wifi signal. I have a mini usb wifi emitter already. This was supposed to be the bridge/ adapter for the wifi usb. It doesnt work. Im guessing because the ethernet cabling that powers such devices is not there. Look closely at the photos. The standard ethernet cables are rainbow colored and number about 8 or 9 inside the endpiece. This adapter only has like 4 or 5.

As a test I plugged this into my Roku TV's ethernet port, and the other coupler into my router. I plugged a male USB 3.0 cable to male USB3.0 cable between them. The Roku TV was able to successfully connect to my network.Unfortunately I purchased this with the intention of using a USB-C cable in between, so I tried using a USB-A to USB-C coupler on both ends, but it didn't work. But that's not to ding the product, that's on me for trying to do a wacky setup. The product itself apparently works fine.
