Very handy.
I have used this on and off, can be a little challenging lining up to the camera but once it's done it works great. Does what it's suppose to. Your picture quality will depend on lenses you use and phone camera protectors. Found best results are with phone protectors.

Great Value for the money!! Is it perfect? No. Is it worth the purchase? YES
See attached un-retouched photo of the moon taken 8/9/2019...It was AWESOME, my son was so stoked not just seeing the moon through our Amazon purchased telescope (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MLL6QY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but being to capture it using this iPhone mount was the icing on top. Is it perfect? No. Is it worth it? YES Pros: - Price/Value - Quality build, feels very solid - heavy metal - Fits both an iPhone SE and iPhone XR (though better with a smaller phone - the XR it had to be rotated at an angle Cons: - As someone explained earlier because of the short travel of the screws (to tighten) it does take a while to open/secure the eyepiece and phone mount screws. That's probably the more painful part. (-1 star) - Its a bit heavy since its metal and not plastic so not sure if its really a con or pro. You want quality but can weigh down the eyepiece so need to be very careful when securing.

Works as designed but with limitations
The SVBONY cell phone adapter works as designed with good adjustability but has some issues. I mounted this on my Leupold HD 20 - 60 x 80 spotting scope and attached my IPhone S6 in the phone cradle. Trying to align the camera lens to the scope eyepiece was difficult at first but became easier with practice. When viewing the phone screen with the scope set to higher magnification, you will have to zoom in the phone to get a full sized image on the screen. Lower power scope settings won't require this as much as higher settings will. Taking pictures by touching the the button on my phones screen caused the phone to move and resulted in a blurry picture so plan on getting a remote button to use on your phone to take the picture without touching the phone. If you plan to use this to take pictures of wildlife you will likely have trouble getting the phone camera lens centered in the scopes eyepiece quick enough to get the picture. You could try to have the phone premounted ahead of time but the mount is not very secure when it is mounted to a scope eye peice and will easily become misaligned if bumped.

Great Product.
This is a great product and is way easier to use and much more adjustable than the less expensive ones I've tried. Yes, this is more expensive, but worth every penny. I use it on my spotting scopes as well as my astronomical telescopes, and it works great. HIGHLY recommend. I have a YouTube video on this item, but I couldn't get it to post here. You can find it on YouTube. It is titled "Cell Phone Adapter for Spotting Scopes, Telescopes, Move Shoot MoveTRIDAPTOR"

Didn't work as expected. Very difficult to adjust on a telescope in the dark.
For what it is, this does work, but it doesnt work well. You really struggle to get a lens on focus and its hard to adjust when a lens is on it and once you do, it slips and youve lost what you were trying to achieve. Just doesn't fit well. This matches all the other brands that are built this way. I bought a different style after purchasing this one.

Works easily for smaller phones.
This worked great with my iPhone 7, but it is just barely big enough for the iPhone 10 in a case. You need to make sure that your phone is perpendicular to your lens or the image will not be complete and will be distorted. I find it easier to take the lens out of my telescope and put the camera and lens together in my car where I can use a flashlight to help me line everything up. The moon also works. I have also used it with my monocular to take pictures of the moon. Again, it is easier to line it up using a flashlight or streetlight than while everything is on the tripod. I included a shot of the moon. Anyway, this is cheap and works well. I may order another so that I can use this with students for stargazing and have one to set up while the other is in use.

had to modify for microscope use
I wanted to use this to have students take cell phone videos and pictures through a microscope. The problem I had was that to get a wide field of view, the camera has to be a couple centimeters above the eyepiece lens, but I wasn't able to attach the adapter this high up on the microscope tube. So, I ended up with a tiny circle of light with a lot of black around it. I was able to solve this problem by cutting a little square of wood (3/4" thick, about 2cm), drilling a hole through the middle, and placing this between the two parts of the adapter mount. I then needed a longer screw to attach the pieces. I ended up getting 1 1/4" length, #20 thread screws, which had to be shortened just a little with a grinder, and tightening it with a screwdriver. This kind of adapter (not just this brand) takes a lot of finicky adjustment before you can get it lined up just right with the eyepiece, and it was a little harder with the screwdriver. It took about 20 minutes of adjusting, but after all this, I was able to get some great shots through the microscope. An easier solution for my old-fashioned home microscope was a different adapter with a built in eyepiece lens, which you can just swap with the original eyepiece. This wouldn't work for the newer student models, though, with bigger tubes and eyepieces that don't easily swap out. All in all, great results, but it took some work to get there. We'll see how the students handle it.

Excelente adaptador, los materiales son, muy buenos, excepto que mi teléfono es algo grande para que pueda encajar con el ocular

It may take the users some time to fiddle and get it to work with some smartphones depending on their button placement. Otherwise it is sturdy.

Es de muy buen material y muy funcional. Es algo complicado de montar. Se requiere mucha paciencia.

I was very impressed with the build quality but I found I very difficult to accurately align the phone camera and the telescope eye piece. The vertical alignment is via a slide, but the horizontal alignment is done by pivoting the phone around a choice of two fixed pivot points. At the correct alignment point, the phone holder clamp pressed on the down volume button, which when the phone is in photo mode, switches the camera to video. I could not find any position with the lenses aligned that the would not switch automatically to video. Maybe another phone have better success. My dual lenses phone with the camera bump high on the right side is very difficult to setup. Nice adaptor, just not usable with my phone with out modifications. Definitely not universal.
